Skittles

Tuesday evening-
After work I decided to watch some of my Grey’s Anatomy shows. It was the episode where a shooter comes into the hospital and kills people. I cried of course! It makes you wonder if you ever were in that situation what you would do. I probably would be shaking and hiding in a really good place. He did ask a lady if she was a surgeon, she lied and said she was a nurse so he wouldn’t kill her. Now I think in that case I would lie but some cases you shouldn’t lie. You should die for what you believe in and stand for even though that would be terrifying.
Anyways I did the dishes and then Spencer came home. We watched Dirty Jobs!!! I love that show, Mike is just so funny to watch. Then we played some Uno, I won every game lol

Wednesday-
I slept in this morning. I’ve noticed that when I get up around 4:30 or so to use the restroom I then lay back in bed and never really fall asleep until about 6. It’s kind of annoying but I work with it. I wore an orange & white striped shirt today and a black sweater. That’s my way of celebrating Halloween even though it doesn’t feel like Halloween. It’s the last day of October, which seems SO weird. I was a little late for work but sometimes that just happens. It feels like Friday sadly it’s not.
Not too much going on at work, I will just watch some of my shows and play Sudoku. I’m doing the easy levels but they don’t seem that easy to me.
After work I don’t have too much planned but The X Factor is coming on a day earlier (today)! Which I’m super excited about but at the same time Halloween is a bad day to do it since a lot of people might not be home to watch it. But I will be! =]

Pregnancy-
Almost got sick but I didn’t let it happen and now I’m fine! =]
This is random but sometimes I talk to Squirt in my mind, but I feel since were connected that he/she is listening to me. It seems silly but I like to know its how we will bond. When Squirt does have ears then I will actually talk out loud.
Sometimes I feel like I’m gaining more weight then I should be but the thing is I never ate enough calories like I should of for my body type AND if I don’t eat every hour or two then I get nauseous so I will deal with the extra fat for now.

Taylor Swift kind of day

Monday evening-
So I just really wanted a home cooked meal (I've been really bad at that lately). I decided to make Chicken Pot Pie even though it didn't get done until 7 pm but it was so delicious and worth it. =]
Then Spencer and I played Rumikub and watched Dirty Jobs & Bones.

Tuesday-
It was a pretty good morning! =] I slept in a little bit, which is hard when it gets lighter out sooner. I then watched some Grey’s Anatomy; I’m getting close to the end. I’m on the episode where Demi Lovato was in it. She was SUCH a good actress in this episode! Then I got ready for the morning, it is a fairly nice fall day again. I hope those that were around the hurricane are doing well. It’s crazy to think that’s happening when it’s totally nice here.
At work I’m just doing a lot of invoices and making it a Taylor Swift music day. Besides that I will be watching some TV shows.
This evening I plan to clean the house up a little bit and watch my shows.
5 more hours left of work………….

Pregnancy-
I can’t wait until I know what gender Squirt is because I really would like to buy 1 or 2 outfits already. I’m doing really well though at waiting on that.

Kind of hard to see but we got this book on thinkgeek.com  it is SUCH a good book for when you have your baby

9 weeks- Cherry

Friday evening-
We had pizza hut for dinner, yummy! Then I met up with Rebecca at the church parking lot. We then stopped by all our nursery kids’ homes to drop off the photo albums we made. All the parents really liked them, and that made me feel good! =]
Then Spencer and I went to the Tanner’s home to have kind of a Halloween party. The decorations were great and had some great company. Other than that we didn’t do a whole bunch but with a lot of babies there someone was always busy with one baby or another. But it was still fun to see friends. Then we went home to get ready for bed, I was exhausted.

Saturday-
I woke up early so that I could have enough time to get ready and get sick if I needed to before going to Ogden. Everything went very well. So then we headed to Frontrunner to get on the train to Ogden. We then met up with Caidan & Jason at Union Station to take their engagement pictures. It was a fairly nice day when we were in the sun. It was hard for me to figure out what poses were best but together we did fairly well. I was excited to go home and edit the pictures and see how they turned out. We were there for about 2 hours then Spencer and I headed back to the frontrunner to go home. When we got back we went to Arby’s; Chicken Bacon Swiss…. Yum! Then we bought a few candy bars from the store for Stephanie’s baby shower and some redbox movies. When we got home I started on the pictures while we watched A big miracle, and Mirror, mirror. They were both fairly good movies. Then we took an evening walk to Smith’s to drop them off and buy Gusher’s! Sunday-
I didn’t feel nauseous at church! Thank heavens because it’s tough going to church for 3 hours and not feeling well. But it was a pretty good day. We said the prayers in sacrament meeting and got to meet new people. After relief society a lady took my picture for the relief society board. It was a nice day to walk to and from church, and we forgot to take pictures again but it will happen sometime. Later we went to Jessica’s to do laundry and watched the Bourne movies. I wasn’t feeling very well with all I was eating so once we were done we headed home. Our friend Bonnie had her baby boy! =]
We cleaned up the house a bit and watched our Netflix shows all evening.

Monday-
Not too bad of a Monday morning. I was able to finally sleep in for a little bit. I did get sick but all I had was 3 sips of water and a cracker so it wasn’t much. Then I drank lots of water and ate more food to feel better. I watched some shows and got ready for work. I listened to some of my favorite music while driving to work. At work there isn’t much going on surprise surprise. I do have this cool app called Springpad I like. It’s kind of like different types of checklists. =]

Pregnancy-
Week 9- size of a cherry/green olive
If I get up around 6:45 to eat and slowly get ready I do okay. But then I’m exhausted so it’s a 50/50 choice.

nuMOM2b #1

Thursday evening-
I felt fantastic today! I really felt like myself and was just in a good mood and didn’t feel sick. When I got home I ate dinner, and then did the dishes. My nuMOM2b appointment was at 7:30 at the University hospital…. I got SUPER lost! Eventually I figured it out and made it maybe 2 minutes late. I had to call them to get directions a few times, I felt really stupid but they were nice and helped me out. They got me right in and first did my ultrasound and took the Doppler. That was kind of interesting. Then we saw the heartbeat, didn’t hear it yet but that’s okay. Squirt looks bigger than last time but maybe it just was the way they were showing me. Then I did the urine sample, I know this sounds weird but it was pretty darn clear! Every time I give a urine sample no matter how much I drink it seems to be yellow. But tonight it was and I was so happy with myself. Then they did a vaginal swab for tests. They asked me LOTS of questions, took my blood, and measured me. They were really nice ladies and I felt pretty comfortable. My next appointment is January 3^rd, seems so far away. lol When I got home Spencer and I just talked and watched some Mythbuster’s. I filled out forms for my next appointment.

Friday-
Didn’t get sick this morning! Woot woot
I dreamt that Squirt was a girl and they found out earlier than normal. I got up and turned on the heater and watched some TV while I slowly ate some crackers and drank water. I feel my face and hair are looking healthier today. =] Besides being cold outside it’s a nice autumn day today! Now just at work trying to keep myself busy. It’s Friday!!!
Tonight Rebecca and I will be stopping by our nursery kid’s homes to give them their photo album. Then going to Acacia’s to watch a Halloween movie and just hang out.
Saturday we will be going to Ogden at Union Station to take Caidan’s engagement photos. I hope the weather is nice and that I feel up for it. I’m very excited and a little nervous, so crossing my fingers all goes well.
Sunday we will do our normal laundry day and go to the 10^th ward.

Pregnancy-
Squirt’s fetal HR= 182 bpm that’s super fast!

Snow Go Away

Wednesday evening-
After work I just came home to relax sadly no food sounded good to eat. Later one popcorn and ice cream worked so that’s what I ate. I didn't feel 100% and I wanted to stay home with Spencer so I missed game night. But we are going to reschedule for later. While Spencer did his homework I watched Bones and ate food.

Thursday-
This morning I slept in a little but realized I probably shouldn't sleep past 8:15. It was snowing…. Sigh! I like the snow mostly around Christmas because it makes me think of Christmas but it’s NOT Christmas yet. When I think of thanksgiving I think of fall weather but that never happens. I just think you’re supposed to stick with your season and winter ALWAYS pushes into fall WAY before it’s time. I just want to move somewhere that my favorite season is there when it’s supposed to be there. It’s just depressing and I don’t like it.
On a random note there is a movie that is out or about to come out from Nickelodeon called Funsize. I’m very disappointed with Nickelodeon because this movie just in the trailers has inappropriate scenes or actions. What happened to Nickelodeon!
Other than that it was an okay morning, I will admit I kind of started watching Suite Life on Deck again, well at least one episode. Then I got sick right before I was going to leave for work. And our Ziploc bags aren't zipping closed….
We had our landlord turn on our gas heater thing and he said would you like me to plastic your windows too? It makes sense that he does it but I had no idea that he did it for us that will help us out a lot!

Pregnancy-
I get up like 4 times in the night to pee. Then I threw up again this morning right before I left for work so I was late. I knew I wouldn't be lucky and miss out on getting sick during pregnancy I just don’t want it to be ALL the time to where I have to take medicine. My nuMOM2b study appointment is today, so that will be interesting. Also last night I bleed a little not like RED blood but you know, anytime that happens it makes me worry because I’m still in the beginning stage and anything can happen.

Jelly Beans

Tuesday evening-
I felt pretty darn good when I got home. I watched some Netflix while I ate. Then I cleaned the house except for the trash and dishes. Then I watched The X Factor! I love that Demi really cares about the people in her group. It almost made me cry when she was crying when she said to say Jillian was going home. It was super sad and I don’t think Jillian should have gone home but I don’t get a say yet. Then I believe live shows start November 1^st, and I can’t wait! Then I get to have a say and vote on the people I like! Other than that Spencer and I just relaxed and watched a show before going to bed.

Wednesday-
I had a dream about jelly beans last night, mostly the yellow ones. Is that a sign that my body wants some jelly beans? Lol I woke up feeling pretty good again today. Then just watched some TV show’s while I got ready for the day. While I am typing my wedding ring is turning around ugh. Anyways I did get sick this morning, but it seems to always make me feel better afterwards then I have to slowly put more water and food in my system again. Then I hurried and got ready and dropped off headphones to Spencer at work. I wish I worked for the church, there are super nice people. Then I headed off to my work and surprise it’s like all the other work days.
Tonight I need to do dishes and then its game night again with Cynthia, Jake, and Margaret.

Pregnancy-
I got to sick today like I said above. My nails are long and haven’t broken yet which I put in this section because it’s probably from the prenatal vitamins and everything. =]
And on a side note sometimes Spencer puts his hand where I showed him Squirt is at and will just either say something or just leaves his hand there for a couple seconds. It’s really very sweet and I love when he does that.

Rainy Day

Monday evening-
After work we went to Costco & Wal-Mart for some more food and snacks. Grocery shopping is hard now because when I look at certain foods it makes me want to gag. So Spencer was mainly in charge of what we got. I wasn’t very sick but before we got home I did not feel good at all and it slowly got worse. But we sat and watched a Halloween movie which wasn’t really a Halloween movie. And I slowly ate some goldfish and started feeling much better! I looked through two of my old phones because my friend Channelle needs one for a little bit. I was just going through and deleting things and came across a few funny things I had forgotten about. Good memories!

Tuesday-
I slept in because I could; it was a rainy day so I stayed in my warm comfy bed! When I woke up I felt good but then I started eating food… ugh! But I slowly got up and didn’t feel fantastic and didn’t have enough time to rush to get ready so I didn’t have time to take a shower. I know I know but oh well. I got a little frustrated with a few things but I was able to work it all out and make everyone happy. It was chilly outside but I got to use my heater in the car! =]
At work the phones have been a little busy but I have this new project that will be keeping me busy as well. Just typing up names and email addresses for a website.
Tonight The X Factor is FINALLY back on to show what got cut off by the lame baseball game. Spencer has classes but I will hopefully be up for cleaning the house a little while I watch the show.

Pregnancy-
I had Spencer look at my list of names and cross out the ones he didn’t like. Sadly he crossed off a few that were my favorite but oh well. We both need to fully agree on a name. It’s more difficult then people tell you! So when I double sneeze (which isn’t normal) I think it’s just Squirts way of getting in a sneeze as well lol

My mom got me a comfy rocking chair from DI!

8 weeks- Large Raspberry

Friday evening-
After work Spencer and I decided to go to McDonald’s to use a coupon he had. It wasn’t bad but a lot of the food looked so gross that I just had a hard time eating. Afterward we headed to Century 16 Movie Theater to watch Hotel Transylvania; it was a pretty cute movie! When we got home I made a 2013 calendar because I have appointments I have in 2013 already and I don’t want to forget so I needed a calendar to keep track of them. Other than watching some TV shows we stayed up later than we should have. I was exhausted!

Saturday-
8 weeks! I was able to sleep in this morning which was super nice, I LOVE Saturday’s! On our way to Tooele we stopped by a few homes that were for sale there. They looked semi rough on the outside but most places do so it would be nice to eventually look on the inside. We just might move to Tooele if things work out that Spencer wants to do. So we thought we’d just see what was out there. Then we got to my parents house and had some lunch. Then my good friend Sarah and her girlfriend LorEn came over. We played Dutch Blitz and talked a little bit. It was really good to see her again! Later the girls went to the little shops around Tooele. And you will be happy to know I didn’t buy ANYTHING! =] It is easier to not buy baby stuff when you’re not sure if it’s a boy or girl yet but everything does look cute. I can’t wait to shop at sweet pea when I find out Squirt’s gender. Then we went to the yummy candy store that I almost caved in and bought candy. When we got home we played with the cat that comes into my parent’s yard and I named him Charlie. After dinner I folded all of our laundry and we left because we needed to do some grocery shopping. We didn’t get a lot done so we will get more on Monday.

Sunday-
I’ve been thinking about how there is always something I want to put on my blog to vent but I don’t want someone to take it the wrong way so I never can! I guess that’s what I’m journals for. On a small note though I’ve realized that people take a lot of things that I say literal but just because I said it a certain way doesn’t mean I mean those exact words! Sometimes things just come out and I said all the time instead of some of the time. Just as an example, ugh but sometimes I tell you what! And then other times people are so rude and interrupt you and probably didn’t notice how rude it was.
Anyways we went to our new ward today. It’s a really interesting building; it’s going to take some getting used to. There are a lot of babies/toddlers, a few newly married people, and a few people that have been married for like 8 years. Of course there are also a few ornery old ladies. It was nice to finally have normal church but man 3 hours was hard with play time and snack time. I felt very sick at church so I need to bring better snacks next time. The relief society seems really nice; I met a few really nice people. One lady gave me advice about being pregnant. She said that even if you feel sick you just have to have a great attitude and go on with your day. I think that’s easier said than done for some people. But she seemed like a really nice lady. After church I slowly got some more food in my stomach and then we took a really nice nap! Then we watched some Netflix and cleaned up a few things. Later we played Family Game Night 3 & 4 on the play station. It’s been awhile and it was nice to play, we just need a second controller. Then we slowly got ready for bed.

Monday-
Taylor Swift’s new album RED is out!! I’m not going to buy it though because I put it on my Christmas list and I don’t want to end up having two. Lol but I’ve heard her songs so that is okay for now! =]
This morning wasn’t too bad I slept in really well. Then I got up and watched some of my Netflix shows, and pushing off getting ready. I have this cough that I think is allergies and it sure makes things hard because I will need to cough so hard it kind of gags me which isn’t good. So I’m trying to take cough drops for now and they seem to be helping. I was asked if I could work a full day on Friday, I felt bad saying no but mornings are just too hard that waking up even earlier would be really difficult for me.
Other than that not too much going on at work, I feel pretty good right now and hoping it stays that way today.
Oh I always found out that I looked up my insurance wrong so the closest hospital that my insurance covers is LDS Hospital so I will be delivering there instead which is fine.
Later today we will be doing more grocery shopping.

Pregnancy-
I am now 8 weeks pregnant and still basically the same as before. I’m nauseous a lot but not too bad when I keep food in my stomach. Squirt is now the size of a large raspberry!
I hate food, I’m tired of always needing to eat and nothing ever sounding good, I would like to just have a few good days where food seems good. I’m just glad I don’t get sick all the time. It could still happen but I’m grateful it hasn’t yet but it would feel good not to be nauseous all the time.

Late Happy 16 Month Anniversary

Thursday evening-
After work I came home and ate some dinner. Than I watched a short show. Later I called Christina she works in the postpartum area at University of Utah and I wanted to know a little bit more about the hospital and the labor area. She was very helpful. I am now decided if I should switch to a midwife or stay with my one doctor. 1. Midwife’s are cheaper and anyway you can save money with still a great person is really nice. 2. They focus more on you and the baby than anything else. There are more things I need to research but we will see. I’m almost leaning towards not switching just because I hate changing things I’ve already set in place. Then later Spencer and I went on a walk to our new ward building just to see how long of a walk it was and what the building looked like. It is interesting; it’s from the year 1909 and it doesn’t look like a normal Latter Day Saint building…. Which I have a hard time with, it looks like another regional. Anyways so it will be interesting to see the inside and we will take a picture later so you can see what it looks like. Then we just relaxed for the evening and played Phase 10. It was nice! =]
Today was our 16 month anniversary and we both kind of spaced it out. SO i'm bringing it up now lol

Friday-
This morning wasn’t too bad; I got to sleep in a little bit which was really nice. Then I fixed some insurance problems and signed up for that baby study. I really didn’t do too much this morning but I’m okay with that.

Pregnancy-
I’ve decided I’m going to give birth at the University of Utah Hospital. And I’ve signed up to do the nuMOM2b study this morning. Now just have a lot of paper work to fill out. My first appointment is Thursday, October 25, 2012 at 7:30pm. So that means the 3^rd appointment Spencer will actually be able to come to one of my appointments! =]
I’m also going with no epidural; I’ve always wanted it that way. I’m just working on getting some books and taking some classes that will help me be in the right set of mind because I think this will be best for my baby. And no one will change my mind!
On a random note I hope I feel much better by thanksgiving because I really want to eat lots of yummy thanksgiving food!

Almond Dental =]

Wednesday-
I notice that I can get moody lately. More than anything I get angry at people. There were some people I just wanted to punch or slap some sense into them. Haha So I did some visiting teaching or more talking with Margret for a little while. Then I headed home for The X Factor…. After 45 minute BAM the mindy project starts playing. I was pissed! 1. The mindy project wasn’t even supposed to be one tonight 2. it’s not even on an hour mark. Later Fox writes on facebook that because of the rain delay with the stupid baseball game it got first dibs apparently even though The X Factor has a SCHEDULED time frame! The only positive to all this is that it happened all over the USA not just Utah. But man I was mad because that was really stupid to do. They rescheduled the whole show for Tuesday which I can watch but I’m still mad at them for that. They could have at least warned us somehow. So after that stupidity we just watched some Netflix and relaxed.
My wedding ring is starting to do flips around my finger again… I can’t wait for chubby fingers just because my wedding ring might actually fit my finger better.

Thursday-
This morning I slowly got ready and headed to my dentist appointment. No x-rays for me! They did say everything looked good, better than usual. But let me just say how much I LOVE my dentist office! It is the best dentist office I’ve been to ever! Almond Dental is the office name. The dentist is great, and all the nurses? I’m not sure what you call them are amazing. They talk to you and get to know you and they feel like old friends or family. I really wish I could work there just because the environment is fantastic! One of the nurses her name is Jessica, she is my favorite. She said everyone time we get a pregnant lady in here I like to look at the Chinese chart to see the gender, so for me it says boy. So she writes it down in my file so by the time I know we can see if it was right or not. Other charts I’ve looked at have said girl but I’m really okay with either. I’d go there everyday just to have nice friendly faces and people to talk to.
I don’t like the news but they have this one news channel on that is things all over the world. And its super interesting to watch but there are some stories that make me so sad. A 19 year old father killed his 6 month old daughter and is only get 90 days in jail! Then there was a story about how in schools they are now getting rid of the hot cheetos. I don’t like the hot kind but they are saying they are addicting and have too much fat and all of that. What chip is good for you? And another school isn’t letting kids wear their Halloween costumes which I kind of get but I also think its kind of silly.
When I left I got some food and packed my snacks for work and off I went. Not too much happening at work which isn’t a surprise. I really feel I need more than this.
After work today I just plan on relaxing and cleaning up a few things around the house. Also need to make a few phone calls tonight and decide what hospital that I want to deliver at….complicated decision!

Pregnancy-
A little nauseous but nothing new. I think I’m going to do a program called nuMoM2b, basically you get 3 extra ultrasounds, and they do blood tests, urine samples, ultrasound videos, and 3D ultrasound (which I think look weird). And that’s it and you get $50 dollars from them for doing this. But you have to go before your 14 weeks along and it has to be your first child. It’s to figure out why some mom’s deliver their babies early, develop high blood pressure during pregnancy, and deliver infants of low birth weight. I figured why not it couldn’t hurt anything to get paid extra and see more ultrasound pictures! =]

Baby #1- Squirt

Tuesday evening-
After work I got some pizza hut for dinner, yummy! Then I watched lots of shows, and Jessie is FINALLY on Netflix! Yay =]
Then I decided to clean up a little bit and do the dishes. A little later Spencer came home and we just relaxed and enjoyed our evening.

Wednesday-
I know some of you that read my blog already figured it out but we are pregnant!! 7 weeks 4 days, Due June 1^st 2013! I know it’s early still but it’s my pregnancy and I will tell people when I want. I am terribly at keeping my own secrets! Since we don’t know if the baby is a boy or girl we giving it the name Squirt! =] I had my first doctor’s appointment today so that was a very interesting experience. A pretty nice doctor but didn’t like one of the nurses but I can easily ignore her. I first got the ultrasound; he said this will be warm (meaning the gel). I said that’s weird because usually they say this will be cold. He goes yeah we keep it on a warming, so that was really nice! They have a pretty old ultrasound machine that you use floppy disks for but it was still awesome. I forgot how long Squirt measured but I could see the heart just beating super fast. It just made my heart melt. It’s crazy to think something so cute is growing inside me because you can’t really tell from the outside. So I know that it’s good to get a flu shot especially when you’re pregnant but I’m on the fence with it. This is why I didn’t like the nurse. 1. it’s a small building so you can hear through the doors 2. She told him she doesn’t want a flu shot and has never had the flu so convince her to get it.
What I like about my doctor is he won’t make me do anything I don’t want to but she had no business telling him that. Ugh! Anyways I will do some more research but honestly I don’t think I will need it and right now I don’t want anyone’s opinion I want to do the research by myself right now. My next appointment is in 4 weeks.
Then I posted on Facebook and told everyone the news and came to work and showed off the picture!
Other than that not too much is happening right now especially at work. It makes me feel good when people are super excited for me thought, I’m thankful for all the likes and comments on facebook!

Pregnancy-
7 weeks 4 days, so far so good. I’m nauseous if I don’t eat much which is hard because most food doesn’t sound good but I try to eat something. I’ve gotten sick once and it wasn’t too bad. I dreaded it just because the last time I got sick I was 16 and that was only one time too. I feel like it is a boy which is odd since I normally want a girl so that’s why I think maybe the feeling is true and it’s a boy. I’m okay with either honestly. It will be the 4^th grandbaby on both sides so that’s exciting! We are struggling to agree on a name but we still have a little time to figure that out. I have to pee all the time which is normal, but so annoying. I do my best to drink as much liquid as I can since I’m not good at it any other time. I have a lot of friends due around May so that’s pretty exciting but there are a few I can’t say yet.

Catch My Breath

Monday evening-
After work we had yummy potato soup. We did a few dishes than we headed to the church to get my things from the nursery closet. Goodbye 1^st ward, it’s been good knowing you. Then Spencer dropped off his church keys, bittersweet. Afterwards we went home and I organized all the nursery kids’ pictures and ordered prints on Winkflash.com to make their albums as a way of saying goodbye. Then we watched Myth busters and Dirty Jobs. Later I finally finished my book, yay it was super good!

Tuesday-
I just watched a few shows this morning and then slowly got ready for work. I hate leaving my house to do nothing fancy at work. I bought Kelly Clarkson’s new song Catch My Breath. I thought she was coming out with a whole new album (which maybe she is) but there is one coming out that’s just of her greatest hits and then just 3 new additional songs. Which is great but I would like all brand new songs! And maybe that is coming but right now it’s just a greatest hits album.

Now I’m just at work………. I got a new book to read and a few shows I can probably watch but nothing exciting going on.
Spencer will be gone longer than normal tonight so I will just be lying on the couch watching some TV and being lazy. I might do a few dishes and buy some photo albums but not too much.

Titanium

Friday evening-
After work we went to Subway for dinner, yummy! We saw our friend Mariah there and talked to her for a little bit. Then we headed over to the temple and we decided to do sealing’s instead of a session. It was really nice and I learned a few new things. Then afterwards we went home and watched Dirty Jobs and relax. I was very glad it was the weekend! I love sleep so I was excited to sleep in this weekend!

Saturday-
I took my sweet time this Saturday morning and watched some of my shows. Spencer had to do some tithing things at the church and that took a long time. I figured out how to get YouTube songs to mp3. Now I only did it to songs that you can hear anywhere else and can’t buy so I didn’t steal a song. Then I made salmon patties to eat around lunch time. I also slowly cleaned up the house. When Spencer got home he did the dishes and then he went for a walk. He bought us a cool plant that I totally forgot to take a picture of! I started reading a book I’ve been struggling to read for awhile. It’s called “vanished” and man it is really good in my opinion! Then later we watched some Myth busters and I got the finished onsies from Acacia. 

Sunday-
Today we met as a stake to get our new boundaries… we are now in the 10^th ward. I don’t mind being in a new ward, it will be weird but some friends are going to be in the ward with us and I’m close to my other friends so it’s not like I will never see them again. But I was mostly sad because I really never got a chance to be nursery leader and that makes me sad. I mean who knows I might get the same calling in this ward but you never know. I am kind of happy that Spencer doesn’t have his calling anymore because now I get him for Wednesday & Sunday’s more! But it seems like were moving to a new place too even though we aren’t. I did have to hold back tears when they told us. Afterwards I took a short nap than we headed over to Jessica’s to do some laundry. My parents stopped by to get their van from Jessica. So we got to see our world travelers, glad to have them back. Then after we did the laundry we went home and did some crafts that I will post later on in the week. Our sink is full of dishes again!! Blah, we really need a dishwasher.

Monday-
This morning wasn’t too bad. I didn’t feel so good at one point but now I’m a little better =]
But welcome to another boring Monday, I will be getting a caramel apple so hopefully that will be great! But this morning I mostly just watched Bobby’s World on Netflix, what a good old show! I like my job but lately it would be nice to take like a month break and just catch up on things, or go outside in the evening, and rest in the mornings. Hmm that would be the life too bad you don’t get paid to do that!
After work we will stop by the church to get some of my things from the nursery closet that are mine and later on Spencer will give back his church keys.

Relaxtion is music to my ears

Thursday evening-
After work I ate dinner and watched Netflix while I waited for Jessica to come over. We then headed out to Tooele to get one of my parent’s cars for her. On the way I helped J with his reading. He does pretty good just has a little trouble with the word “this”. Then when we got there I saw the stain on the carpet where I had spilt my drink. Apparently we didn’t clean it up well. =[ Then I headed back in my car, hoped to stop by and see a friend but it was very last minute so it didn't happen. Then I came home and The X Factor was pushed back because of one of the debates so I ended up not missing any of it! YES!!! I went to bed by 10 and man was I exhausted. Oh and never got around to cleaning so I guess I will be cleaning this weekend.

Friday-
I slept fairly well last night. Then I slowly got up and finally was able to relax on the couch and watch some of my Netflix shows. Because we haven’t had normal church in awhile I forgot how long it’s been since I’ve shaved my legs. So I needed to shave my legs this morning so I could wear a dress since we are going to the temple this evening. I still was having a hard time eating like I needed to. I will explain more why I have trouble eating in a week or so. But for now just bare with me. So I know that once I do eat I feel a lot better but it’s trying to eat that is the hard part. So I sat myself down and forced myself to eat raman noodles before work so that I wouldn’t go to work feeling sick again. Now I’m here and I feel better but still could eat more food and drink more water because I have a slight headache.
It just seems so silly that I have to force myself to eat food, crazy!
Then I headed off to work and we got some rain finally! =]
Not too much is going on at work I will just try to keep busy because I can’t wait for the day to be over and the weekend to begin.
So after work we are going to the temple I’m glad to finally go, life has been so crazy it’s hard to make it on our one day we have available together.
Then Saturday Spencer is mainly doing homework and then we might be going to dinner with Sister & Brother Mills. Then Sunday FINALLY we will get to know the new ward boundaries and everything. Mostly a relaxed weekend and I’m super happy about that.

Word of the day: Rough

Wednesday evening-
I had a pretty good dinner and then relaxed for a little while. Then The X Factor!! So far do good, can’t wait to see who makes it! Then I did a few things and headed to bed. Not much of anything exciting happening.

Thursday-
This morning wasn’t too bad but my poor sister is having it rough. Her car just wouldn’t start this morning so she borrowed her home teacher’s truck and made it to her destination but on the way back it broke down in Lehi. Right now it is getting fixed so hopefully she will soon be on her way but man oh man. There must be a reason for all of this. Then I slowly got ready for work, I’m glad this is my last day working an hour earlier. I’m glad for the money but I cherish that one extra hour to get ready in the morning. At work I’m not doing so well but its okay I will deal with it. Now just stuffing envelopes to be mailed out.
Then I will go home for a little bit but if Jessica’s car isn’t an easy fix then we will be going to Tooele for her to get another car from my parents. I’m ready for the weekend but it’s going to be kind of busy with a few things… such is life.
Then I will be picking Spencer up around 9:30 from classes. Then I will be ready for bed.

Grace Adele Bag

Tuesday evening-
After work I got my Grace Adele bag!! Its super cute and some other fun things in the mail! Then ate a pretty good dinner and headed out to Cynthia’s. Margret was there as well. We ate yummy chocolate chip cookies and played rumikub, life, and dutch blitz. Her baby Nixon was just super adorable and just smiling up a storm. Afterwards I went home and did the dishes, I’m so glad they are done but in a few hours there will be more again. The joys of having your own place to take care of. Then we slowly got ready for bed.
I’ve said this a few times before but being the nursery leader can be a little difficult especially if none of you are mothers and don’t have total patience all the time. Since our ward boundaries will be changing we probably will get more nursery aged kids and if they keep me as the nursery leader I may have a breakdown. I love nursery and want to be the nursery leader still but there is no way I can handle more than 10 kids. There are 3 of us and I know a lot of wards have 20 or more nursery kids with just 3 leaders but honestly I might go insane and I don’t think I could handle it. I really hope our ward doesn’t change a whole lot if so I will do it because I’m asked to but poor Spencer might witness a few meltdowns from me.

Wednesday-
I had a dream that my boss boss told me I was getting fat and I tried to make up excuses and she goes just take care of it. Haha Oh dreams
I slept fairly well but had a rough morning getting ready for work. It’s hard when you have a routine and then you need to go to work a little earlier and it just throws you off. But I’m now at work and did a few certified mail papers and now just trying to keep busy. Maybe find a website to practice my vocabulary or math problems.
After work I plan to relax at home because I have no plans while Spencer has a few meetings. OH The X Factor is on tonight, finally I will be able to watch it with no interruptions.

Cinderella

Monday evening-
After work I made some dinner and we watched some Family Feud. Then Spencer had a lot of homework to do so I just went grocery shopping by myself. But it was nice and relaxing but I probably bought more without him there. Then I watched Cinderella, I forgot how much I like this movie! It’s so funny, and the evil person isn’t too evil. Then I decided to go to bed at 9:30 and I could of fallen asleep but I got up every 30 minutes to go to the bathroom, I must of drank a lot!

Tuesday-
This morning I woke up and slowly got ready for the day. I like getting up and lying on the couch until I’m ready to get up. It’s hard to get up and going right away. I could hear my neighbor throwing up, that was disgusting. I shouldn’t be able to hear that through the walls. Then I headed to Acacia’s and we crafted cute little onsies for my sister’s baby. She was super nice and helpfully, she is great at doing crafts, me not so much. And I held cute little Emerson and he just talked and talked to me. And Evia got to do some of her own crafts too!
Then I headed off to work where not much is happening of course. I love my job but I do get tired of trying to keep myself busy with random things.
Later tonight I might go play some games with Cynthia and need to clean my house. I’m very sleepy. OHHH I get my Grace Adele/Scentsy purse today i'm SO excited!!!
Oh I woke up with this weird red line on my arm, not sure what it is or how it got there…. Almost like maybe a vein popped or something. (Don’t mind the lines on my arm from my sweater lol)

General Conference Oct. 2012

Friday evening-
After work we helped Stephanie get her car and head home since J was going to be staying with his Dad instead. =[
Then we went to Jamba Juice for our dinner lol and headed to Spencer’s missionary reunion. Not a whole bunch of people were there but we talked to a few of them. On our way back we stopped at In & Out for a burger. Then we relaxed at home until bed time.

Saturday-
We slept in this morning and it was really nice. Then we made yummy pancakes and watched Mythbuster’s. Then we got ready for General Conference: two new temples, Arizona & Peru. Now guys can go on a mission at age 18 and girls can go on a mission at age 19. It shocked me because I don’t think any of us knew they were even thinking of changing the age. I was going to write down a few more things I liked, I took notes but honestly I just had a really hard time focusing because I wasn’t feeling very well. In between sessions we cleaned up the house, it looks much better. Then after the second session we went to Trio for dinner. Yummy spaghetti just wish I could eat it all and enjoy more than just 4-5 bites right now. Then I finished cleaning and Spencer headed to the Priesthood session. I stopped by Smith’s to get a few things and watched some TV while I waited for him to come home.

Sunday-
We woke up and slowly got out of bed and headed to Tooele. We wanted to do our laundry and watch Conference there even though my parents weren’t home. I accidently split juice on the carpet… mom if you’re reading this sorry! But we did a pretty good job cleaning it up so you might not even notice where it happened. Then Jessica got an early flight home so we headed out between sessions to pick her up from the airport. She told us about her whole trip and we stopped by her place quick. Then we headed out to Eagle Mountain to pick up J. Man was I sleeping from watching Conference and being in a car for a long time. I ate yummy frozen strawberries though. Then we stayed at their house for a little bit while we finished conference and Spencer made paper airplanes with J. Then when we got home I was wiped out but we played some games and watched some Netflix shows. I really needed a nap but it was too late to bother with one. Still wasn’t feeling very well but we made it to bed time and was glad to finally get some rest.
I finished my journal and had to start in a new one!!!

Monday-
This morning I pulled myself out of bed and took the car into Big O Tires to look at our tire that we think had a slow leak. It took exactly 45 minutes like they said. They’ve been really good all the times I’ve brought in my car. Our tire had a nail in it, go figure! So I’m glad I finally got that fixed and out of the way. I filled up the car on my way home. Then just watched some TV before heading into work. I wish I had the day off work today like some people. I could use the time to catch up on some more sleep so my body can feel better.
Not too much happening like always but I need to hurry and read my book club book before tomorrow evening. Then I need to make a grocery list and go grocery shopping while Spencer is doing his homework.

Pitch Perfect

Thursday evening-
After work I headed home to relax for a little bit. Then I went to see Pitch Perfect, it was hilarious! And made me want to get up and dance and sing. It was really nice to get out and watch a movie. Then we headed home and relaxed for the evening.

Friday-
This morning I got up and ready for the day. Stephanie picked me up and we decided to walk around City Creek and enjoy a pumpkin steam from Kneaders. It was kind of a chilly morning. Then we walked around Target for a few. Man I’m super hungry and tired… glad the weekend is pretty much here.
Not much is happening at work so just watching Grey’s Anatomy and relaxing until 5pm.
Then later we will be going to one of Spencer’s mission reunion things.
This weekend we will be having General Conference and I’m happy about that!
I’m so sleepy!

Chili/Chilly

Wednesday evening-
After work I got home and ate Chili, yummy! Then Spencer went to his meetings and I just relaxed at home. I got a call from the person over me for visiting teaching. She is a nice lady but can sometimes come off rude. They are only supposed to ask if we did our visiting teaching and we say yes or no. When I said no she goes why not? I wanted to say excuse me, that’s none of your business. I know visiting teaching is important but some months are harder than others. And for one she doesn’t even really know me. But I told her why and she said well do better next month. That really mad me angry. Ugh but whatever. After awhile I was watching Netflix but it was time to watch The X Factor so I went to channel 13 and guess what was on, The Presidential Debate….boring! I know its important information but it isn’t anything I plan to sit and watch because I don’t understand it and it’s not interesting to me. I’ve been fine so far without having to watch it. When I am older maybe I will watch it more but I would have rather watched The X Factor, so now I missed it and have to try to find it online so I can catch up. Then the internet kind of shut down so I decided to go to the church to just sit and maybe talk with a few people there while waiting for Spencer.
I had a little upsetting moment because someone I know and I don’t agree on something which instead of saying something I just let it go. Grrr, it must be make Holly upset week. Lol jk
I talked with one of our missionary couples; they are super nice and are like parents to me. Then just talked to the bishopric a little bit about the changes that may happen. Then Spencer and I went home to organize a few things and talk about a few things with out the TV, it was nice.

Thursday-
I slept pretty good last night! I slept in a little bit then hurried to get ready for work. Heather was leaving a little earlier so I came in earlier. It’s been a fairly busy morning at work it seems. I have a few papers to fold to keep my busy. I will probably watch shows while I fold the papers. Then I plan to get a few things organized. I’ve been trying to organize Stephanie’s baby shower that’s coming up in about a month or so.
Other than that Spencer has classes tonight so later I will be going to see Pitch Perfect by myself. It looks like it’s going to be pretty funny, I’m excited! And that’s about it for my evening. We are going to have to go grocery shopping again.

Colorful Leaves

Tuesday evening-
After work I headed out to Heather’s to get my hair cut. It was just so dead and I couldn’t wait any longer. And I know she is good and she does it for cheaper than other places. It turned out pretty good. It’s shorter but I like it. It was hot and I hit lots of traffic before I actually got to her place but it was all good.
Then on my way back home I stopped at McDonalds because I was STARVING! Their hamburger was delicious! Then I cleaned up the house a little and talked to Suki on Skype. We discussed a few things and talked a little bit here and there but then we had to get off. Then I relaxed a little bit before Spencer got home. =]
We had a nice relaxing evening together watching a few shows and doing a few things.

Wednesday-
This morning our landlord measured our place because we were curious on the square feet. It’s about 500-600 square feet that seems SO small. I’ve lived there for awhile but getting a number makes it seem even smaller. Just wanted to compare to other places that we look at. Then I cancelled a few appointments I didn’t need anymore and then watched a few episodes.
At work there isn’t too much going on but that’s normal. It feels like fall today, because when you drive you see colorful trees and leaves falling all over! =] It makes me very happy!
On October 27^th I’m doing the Bird Family Photo Session and then Caidan’s engagement pictures. I’m super exciting, it’s giving me more experience and I hope I can do my best!
After work today I just plan on cleaning the house a little bit and watching The X Factor Boot camp, it should be interesting.

Word of the day: Distressed

Monday evening-
After work we had Papa Johns pizza which was okay but not the best I’ve had. Then we watched some shows. I had a little frustrating angry moment that mad me feel like a nothing. Even though this is my blog I’m not going to talk about it on here. Then Spencer and I went on a nice evening walk to get out for a little bit. Then we came back to watch some of our favorite Netflix shows. Also we saw Once Upon a Time which wasn’t too bad but they have twisted some things. I bought a few things and I’m super excited about getting them! Other than all that not too much happened yesterday.

Tuesday-
I slept in this morning because I could and I wanted to. Then I got up to watch a few shows before getting ready for work. Also to eat food, ugh I hate food. Nothing ever really sounds good. But it’s a nice day before the cold sets in. If our ward boundaries end up moving for our ward then we might move into a bigger place if things work out of course. I’m alright with either decision but it would be nice to have a little more space.
Not too much happening at work just trying to keep busy.
Afterwards I am going to Heather’s for her to cut my hair, mostly the dead ends and possibly re trimming my bangs. I feel like I need maybe layers though instead of this flat long hair. We will see what will happen. Suki and I will Skype hopefully tonight finally.
Then just watching my shows and keeping busy.

RIP Grandpa Nielsen (Pop)

Thursday evening-
I went home and cleaned the house. Then I watched The X Factor & Grey’s Anatomy! Suki and I ended up not going on Skype. We got revolution monopoly in the mail! I tried to get everything ready for our camping trip. I didn’t really end up going to bed until about 11pm.

Friday-
We got everything gathered together for our trip then we headed to the grocery store quickly. Then off to Bryce Canyon. It was a fairly nice drive and we got there around 1pm. The in-laws and us just walked around a few shops and got to know the place a little bit more. Then we had ribs & baked potatoes for dinner. We played a little Yahtzee and sat by the fire; it got really cold at nights. Spencer and I decided to put our air mattresses in the Pilot to sleep in at night.

Saturday-
It wasn’t too bad sleeping in the Pilot but I had to get up and go out in the cold so many times to the bathroom that it got frustrating. Also my nose was always cold. We had “garbage” for breakfast. Basically that is all the leftovers thrown together but they’ve changed it into potatoes, cheese, eggs, and bacon. It was delicious! The camp showers were really nice! Then we decided to go look at some view points and go on a hike. We decided to walk peek-a-boo loop, we didn’t walk the whole thing but it was fairly nice. I’m just not used to walking so much so I was dying. Once we got back I took a 45 minute nap. Then we played monopoly, Spencer won like usual so then we stopped. I had a fun time but there were something’s I wish had been different but you can’t always change things. We just kind of laid around for awhile then built a fire and played rumbikub. Then we decided to sleep in the RV with the in-laws.

Sunday-
Sleeping in the RV was much better! I wasn’t as cold and there was a bathroom right in there if I needed to get up. Then we had hot chocolate and got ready for the morning. We hung out and then started to pack up all of our things. Then we headed out to walk some of the rim. It wasn’t too back of a little hike. We saw a baby lizard and held him. And of course Spencer did a few dare devil things but we all survived the trip. I was sad to leave but I was ready to be home in my own bed.
I found out on the way home that our ward boundaries are going to be changed on the 14^th… it will be good for our ward but I always am afraid it might change everything! I miss my nursery kids!
Then I also found out my Grandpa Nielsen (Pop) passed away. I’m glad we were able to see him a month ago. He wasn’t doing very well, they found out he had cancer in his throat and he just didn’t remember things very well. But it was good to know he had his sense of humor still when we were there.

My parents were heading up there this weekend but sadly didn’t make it in time but they will be there for his funeral. It was his time to go though. Then we unpacked everything and sat down to watch TV.

Monday-
I slept really good last night! Then I woke up to go do the laundry. And Debby Ryan posted her version of Taylor Swift’s “We are never getting back together” song today! I love it; check it out! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y7EahpPP7UM&feature=youtu.be
After laundry I got ready for work and watched some TV. Then when I got to work I talked to my boss for a little while about a few things. She said some really nice things about me. She things I’m really great at my job and said she would never want to lose me =]
Then the FedEx guy that comes in pretty much everyday said I don’t want this to sound weird but your face is looking really nice. You have the same problem as my daughters but yours is looking really nice.
I’m really confused because I haven’t had problems with my face for awhile until recently I’ve been getting more pimples (yuck). And how does he know what issues I have with my face, he seems me everyday but that doesn’t mean he knows my face. I said thank you with a smile because he said my face looked nice. I’m just really confused what he meant by my problem?
Anyways not too much happening at work just going about my day and figuring out a few things.
We are having free papa johns pizza tonight! Woot Woot
I love my husband very much and can’t wait until work is done so that we can have a nice Monday evening together.
I can’t wait until my hair stops shedding so DANG much, its ridiculous how much I’ve been shedding lately.
