PUK code is locked

Friday evening- Amen for the weekend! We had dinner and relaxed a bit before heading out to South Jordan for Karlissa’s wedding reception. Beautiful! It was a gorgeous reception building and Karlissa was beautiful. It all came together very nicely and I saw a few people I knew from LDSBC so it was pretty nice. My eyes started to get a little teary during some parts. It’s just happy tears =] we stayed for a little while than decided to head home and relax.

Saturday- We got up to get ready for the day! I headed out to Tooele Utah for my friend Bree’s bridal shower. It was a fairly nice day as long as you were in the sun. We just hung out and I saw Elora and Kaylee and she opened presents. I sat in the sun for 2 hours not thinking about sunscreen or anything so later I come to find out half of my face was burnt and part of my neck was. For heaven sakes! Afterwards I went to talk to my mom for about an hour or so than headed back to Salt Lake City. Spencer cleaned the house while I was gone, it looked amazing and then we headed to West Bountiful for a school friend, Joseph’s birthday party. We were a surprise; he didn’t know we were coming. We hung out for a little while than went back home. Our internet connection this weekend has been going from 1 bar to two bars on and off. I did call that landlord lady one more time and this time she answered. She said the person that lives there was the one that was going to find someone to take her place. She said she thought that girl had someone already and things were going to go through on Monday BUT if they didn’t she had my number and would call me. So I guess we shall see. If not it’s no big deal because we don’t need a bigger place right now but eventually.

Sunday- Before Spencer left for church early he said don’t be late. I told him I wouldn’t because my alarm was set for 8 and it doesn’t take me super long to get ready. Well so a little while later my alarm goes off and I’m just laying there not wanting to get out of bed… then I’m playing with my phone for a minute and realize its 8:36. Apparently I accidently set my alarm for 8:30 and I leave the house by 8:45 so I RUSHED to get ready and instead of walking I drove and made it RIGHT on time. I just didn’t really eat anything but thankfully I’m in Nursery =] I LOVE my calling but just like any calling there will be bad days. We had 6 kids and holy moley was it insane. We had slapping, screaming, throwing, kicking, and crying. And half the time they were all surrounding me when it would happen. It’s no big deal but it was LOUD pretty much all the time. But we were able to calm them down half the time. I love them all to pieces but we do have our good days and bad days. But we made it threw eventually. I went home and ate some food and watched some TV while I waited for Spencer to get home. We had a nice relaxing evening. Towards 8pm I think we watched this weird old ish movie and had ice hot chocolate which is SO good and popcorn!

Monday- What a morning! Spencer needed to go to get a Utah License but we couldn’t find the address of the place but I’d been there before so I got up and took him. Than I hurried home to shower and get ready and noticed something was wrong with my phone but I hadn’t pressed anything. So if Spencer needed a ride back he couldn’t get a hold of me. So I hurried and went back and he just had to take his test and he would be done. So by 9:40 we headed over to Gateway to fix my phone basically something had happened to my SIM card so they just gave me a new one for free. Then we grabbed some food from the food court and headed home real quick. I got last minute snacks for work and we said our good byes. After work I’m going to have a sleepover with Suki so I won’t see Spencer until tomorrow morning. I miss him already but that’s what happens when you’re married.

Besides that not much but typing up some invoices for work and maybe a TV show and read my book.

Have a wonderful Monday!
This is what my phone was doing. so I had no signal to text or call anyone

Game night

Thursday evening-

After work Spencer and I made Tuna Casserole and then brownies. Afterwards we went to Acacia’s house to play games. Basically we played electronic Life again and I put way too many “years” so we played that from 7-11pm. Ah! But it was a lot of fun we had brownies and ice cream and talked about a lot of things. It started to rain/storm around 9pm maybe and it was getting chilly. Across from their house is a duplex and their kind of like studios and one will be for sale in May and the other some other time. So we got the ladies number and I texted her hopefully she will let us know soon if it is still available so we can even just look inside and see if its something we might like to rent. Especially if it’s bigger than our place; it does have a washer and dryer and bath tub which are some things we’ve wanted and we can have a kitten so let’s cross our fingers! (And we would stay in our ward) Spencer won the game and then around 11pm we left their house and I was wearing sandals and we had to walk to our car so we got wet! But we needed the moisture. We didn’t go to bed until 12…. AH lol

Friday-

I slept fairly well since it was cooler in our room for once. I got up around 9:15 and watched some TV shows. We got our swamp cooler type thing which is funny since now it will be cold for just a few more days. But hopefully it works nicely for us at night when it gets warm again. Then off to work we go… its Friday! I plan to work double time on typing up these personal papers I’ve been meaning to do. Other than that not much going on today.

On a side note we might be going to Chicago in September to see Steve Salisbury, I’m pretty excited! Maybe one day we might swing up into Michigan so Spencer and see that beautiful state =]

Tonight is Karlissa’s wedding reception so we plan to go to that for a little bit and that’s about it. Saturday I plan to get a massage and then go to a friend’

Disney DVDs

Wednesday evening-

I went to Taco Bell for dinner and Spencer got Jimmy Johns. After he ate and left for the church I went to my friend Cynthia’s house to play games. We played electronic life and Dutch Blitz! We had a really good time. I was there from about 6pm-10pm. She is pregnant with a baby boy and is due in August so we were talking a lot about that. And I realized I know about 6 or more people due in August its crazy! But Cynthia was saying it’s probably because of the Conference talk from October 2011: “Children” By: Neil L. Andersen (I think that’s the one)
Which would make sense. Then I went to bed around 11 but read a little first before hand.

Thursday-

I slept a little better but at times I woke up super hot. I can’t wait until we get our cooler to keep our room cool. I woke up more around 9:30 though which was fine since I was exhausted. Than just got ready for the day. And now I’m at work. It’s supposed to be semi cooler today and might storm. Which I don’t mind since it’s been kind of hot lately. Just typing up more pages and finishing my book.

After work Spencer and I plan on going to Acacia’s house and her and her husband and Spencer and I will play some more games and eat Sundaes! I’m pretty excited, I don’t get to play games very often especially with other people so it will be nice. And she is having a baby boy too and is due in August as well. It’s super crazy!

On a side note I love the primary song: A Childs prayer
“Heavenly Father, are you really there? And do you hear an answer every Childs prayer? Some say that heaven is far away, but I feel it close around me as I pray. Heavenly Father, I remember now something that Jesus told disciples long ago: “suffer the children to come to me.” Father, in prayer I’m coming now to thee. Pray; he is there; speak; he is listening. You are his child; his love now surrounds you. He hears your prayer; he loves the children. Of such is the kingdom, the kingdom of heaven.”

Have a wonderful Thursday! I’m excited for the weekend as always.
On a side note I think I forgot to tell you a few days ago we signed up for Disney DVDS so we have 6 coming! I’m super excited. We got Bugs life, Dumbo, Lilo and stitch, the black cauldron, great mouse detective, and Up! =]

Radiating Heat

Tuesday evening-

I have a lot of invoices to type up at work now which is fine they aren’t too hard to do. After work Spencer and I had salmon patties for dinner. They burnt and I’m not sure why I’ve made these plenty of times before. But they tasted okay. We were out of Mac & cheese so I just had the patties for dinner. Than we got a letter from our landlord… we can’t have a cat. Which is fine I kind of figured that would be the answer but I still hoped. They were saying they like to keep consistency even though we are good tenants. The thing is the people above us have a cat and they said because they choose their cat over new carpet or something like that. That still doesn’t make it consistent. Oh well eventually we will leave it would just be nice to have another living thing in our apartment besides us. I was just a little upset about it. Then we played some Sims a little because it’s been awhile. Mine are driving me CRAZY! So I had to stop playing them for the day. Than Spencer and I decided to kind of have like a movie night. Not really though because we just watched an extended Phieanes and Ferb episode and had popcorn. Than we went to bed around 11pm. I tried to read a little before to relax so that I could maybe sleep better.

Wednesday-

I feel like heat is radiating off of me! I’m also so HOT especially at night! We don’t have A/C which is fine windows usually work well but not lately. I barely slept at all last night. I’m sure I really didn’t sleep much. I got up to go to the bathroom twice. I had the fan on full blast so parts of me were cold but parts were still super hot. I felt like I was going crazy! So eventually I got up and went to sleep on the couch, it was cooler in the living room. I’m not sure what time I went out there but I got up around 6pm and went back in the bedroom but didn’t fall back asleep. Eventually around 6:40 we just got up and ready to go to the laundry mat. While we were there I watched Glee on my phone and Spencer read his Harry Potter book. When we came back we cleaned up the bedroom and put the clothes away. Then I did the dishes. I went to take a nap but I didn’t really fall asleep really. I feel even more tired and I only slept or tried to sleep for like 30 minutes. I just got up and cut some fruit for my lunch today. Spencer’s Sim game is of him and I. And I’ve accomplished TONS of things I dream of accomplishing but its not me really doing it so I’m kind of jealous of a Sims character. Anyways we departed our separate ways to go to work. Just plan to read, watch TV shows, and do ALL this paper work and hope I stay awake. Heat and lack of sleep really can make a person grouchy.

Tonight I plan to hang out with Cynthia, Acacia, and maybe Margret to play games and chit chat. I’m pretty excited it’s been awhile since we’ve all gotten together. Before I will probably clean the house a little bit (do more cleaning tomorrow) and than maybe take a little nap.

Wish me luck!

# 1 Advice

Monday evening-

After work I picked up Spencer and we headed home. Once we got there I did the dishes and started on the lemon pepper chicken. After dinner I went to Walgreens to get copies of pictures for our awesome picture frame! It was an hour wait and sadly the pictures were kind of grainy but that’s okay. Then when I got home Spencer wasn’t almost done cleaning the bathroom/shower. He does a fantastic job at cleaning the shower. Then we watched Once upon a time.

  • When you attend a bridal shower sometimes they ask what advice you want to give them. I give this #1 advice: communication is key! It’s funny because I’m still trying to do better at that. And at times when I don’t communicate in really any relationship I feel terrible or make things worse than they probably are. That’s why I know it’s key because when you do communicate things are better. It’s the whole giving advice you should be giving yourself. Man it can be really hard sometimes though. Next to patience, those are my two big struggles.

Let’s just say it was a rough night for several reasons.

Tuesday-

I woke up with a nightmare again. I think it was a dream within a dream because I was trying to talk and wake up Spencer but I don’t think I really succeed. It’s funny because once I did kind of wake up from it and he kind of woke up he just rolled over with his back towards me. And I’m like man because I’m all terrified. Basically you know when your eyes are closed and someone uses the flash and you can see it through your eye lids. Well basically I felt like someone took a picture of us sleeping and they were in our house and I thought that was so creepy. So I was trying to scream or speak but it just wasn’t working. And it was HOT; it’s hard not having A/C with the temperature going up outside. I like to be covered up by at least one blanket but sometimes that’s still too hot.

Anyways because of my nightmare I got up later than I wanted to. Tonight we are going to do laundry or at least one of us is. Than maybe do something for FHE since we didn’t do it yesterday. Other than that a semi relaxed evening. Just doing the normal reading and the project of typing up these pages for work.

Enjoy your Tuesday!

The Lucky One!

Friday evening- Spencer and I relaxed for a little while. Then around 8pm I went to Olive Garden to Suki’s bridal shower. We were there until like 1030. We had a lot of fun though. Suki opened presents and we had a few laughs. Ate some really good food and some amazing cake that Kasey brought for us. Then I hit the sack when I got home.

Saturday- Around 10:30am Suki picked me up and we went to Farmington to get her bridals done by Laura. It was a HOT day but we managed to get through it with some shade and laughter. I can’t wait to see how the pictures turned out. We had a lot of fun. And later I realized I got burnt on my neck (splotchy looking) and a little on my nose. Then Suki and I went to South Jordan to watch “The Lucky One”! It wasn’t too bad, I didn’t cry but that’s only cuz Suki and I kept talking so I wasn’t super focused or I almost would cry and she would look over at me and say “are you crying yet?” so then I couldn’t cry. That jerk lol But it was a fairly good movie only there wasn’t much of a climax I felt. They all recovered from situations before you even had a chance to really cry or get upset over it. (I won’t say any details because I don’t want to ruin it) Then I met up with Spencer in West Jordan to see say hi to his friend at their wedding reception. We were there for like 5 minutes then we went back home. Spencer got me flowers and reeses sticks and also new windshield wipers! And I retried on my wedding dress…. 1. Its pretty loose in some places which makes me SUPER happy 2. I wish I hadn’t worn the slip underneath because than the dresses wouldn’t have been so puffy. Too late now. Other than that it was a crazy busy day.

Sunday- It took me longer to get ready in the morning than normal so I was almost late for church. It was our ward conference. It was kind of like normal church though especially being in the nursery. We had 5 boys and 1 girl. But for the most part everyone got along pretty well. And we had very few tears =] we blew up a little balloon for each of them and they had fun throwing them around. Then afterwards I went home and ate lunch while watching Phenias and Ferb on Netflix. Around 3 Spencer and I went to a retirement home with 2 other couples from our ward to give them the sacrament. It was a pretty good experience especially when one of the people bore their testimony it was really powerful. Other than that Spencer and I played a little bit of Sims and watched TV mostly yesterday.

Monday- We woke up later than usually but I think it was good for us. Than we got ready for work. Later tonight I plan on going to Walgreens to print some pictures off and do the dishes! And of course watched some general conference for FHE. Other than that we don’t have a whole bunch planned for today. I did get in the car for work and noticed the tank was ON empty so I hurried to the gas station before work. Thankfully I made it and I wasn’t super late for work. I’ve never had the tank be that low before I like to be as full as possible. Now typing up things for work, it’s a little frustrating and tiresome. Hopefully we can finish it all up soon enough. My break will be reading my book or typing up papers. I put some Aloe stuff on my neck but it is still kind of itchy so I’m trying not to scratch it. Blah!

Have a great Monday!

Celtic Woman

Thursday evening-

After work Spencer and I went home and changed for the concert. Then went out to Olive Garden to eat dinner. Now I have some thoughts I would love to tell restaurants but I don’t think they can do much about it. 1. I like olive gardens breadsticks except they have WAY too much garlic on them. 2. If you can have a small stomach menu or skinny peoples menu. Because I can only eat 1 half of a meal but then they give you all of these sides you can’t say no too. So it’s a complete WASTE of money and food. I don’t think its right for people that don’t eat a whole bunch to have to pay for extra food that won’t be eaten. For example I got spaghetti and meatballs. Which was good but first you get breadsticks and then a soup or a salad. But I don’t want a soup or salad I just want my meal and like the breadsticks. Spencer usually eats it for me but then he can’t always eat his whole meal either. I wish there was a meal in between kids and adult. One time I went to Applebee’s and I told him I wanted the steak but I wont eat the sides so fine if I have to pay for them but I don’t want them on my plate. So he did so and he was nice enough to delete the charge for the sides so I didn’t have to pay. Now it was probably because he was flirting with me that’s what my friends said. This was like 4 years ago that happened. But it was really nice and I wish everyone could do that. I feel bad enough I can barely eat my whole main meal.
Anyways then we hurried over to the Energy Solutions Arena to watch the Celtic Woman Concert! I have never been to one of their concerts before but I watched some DVD’s to prepare myself of what they sing and do and all of that. We had fairly good seats but we were fair enough away that I couldn’t see who was singing or not because I couldn’t tell if their mouth was moving or not. And the lighting wasn’t very good when it was a spot light; it wasn’t bright enough for me to see. But they sang beautifully as always. They did a pretty good job and their very friendly people but sometimes its hard to understand what they are saying when they speak to us in their accent. Lol and I LOVE their dresses! And the one violist is CRAZY, she just jumps and leaps and dances ALL over the place which is nice because it gets people excited and she is really good. But I love lyrics to songs so she isn’t my favorite person. I think Chloe sings really good especially for her age, she is 22 now but she has been in their since she was like 15 or 16. It was a great experience. We got home about 1030 and got ready for bed.

Friday-

Spencer and I got up around our normal 8:30ish time. We don’t even use alarms we just automatically get up then. Of course once again we played Sims. Oh and my Sims person had a baby boy too, for heaven sakes! Do they ever have baby girls? Then I got ready for the day and packed our lunches and watched some Rachel Ray. Today at work there isn’t too much going on so we shall see. I will just read more about TMJ probably and type up some papers.

Later around 8pm is Suki’s real bridal shower. Then Saturday I will go see “The Lucky one” and maybe get a massage and then got to a ward party and one of Spencer’s friends wedding reception. Then Sunday after church hopefully Mariah will come over!

Yay its Friday! Have a great weekend

And on a side note I feel like watching Titanic sometime soon again.

Waiting for responses

Wednesday evening-

Spencer had to hurry to the church for meetings. So I watched some TV shows on Hulu for a little while.  Then I did some dishes and vacuumed the floors and then swept and mopped the floors. Then decided to play some Sims for a little bit while I waited for Spencer. He called our landlord about getting a cat and he said he’d have to ask his partner over the apartments his opinion. So we are waiting for a call back on that. I’m not sure when that is going to be but I would like to get one in the next two weeks if we are allowed to get a cat. Spencer came home and I finished up Sims. Then we ate some ice cream and watched Mr. Deeds on Netflix. It wasn’t too bad of a movie, I had never heard of it before. Then we got to bed around 11pm.

Thursday-

We woke up around our usual 8:30 and played Sims like usual in the morning. We had some cereal and just kept playing. My Sims is pregnant. Man if only pregnancy really went that fast haha
Other than that I took my vitamin pills this morning and packed my lunch for work. Than Spencer and I relaxed until it was time for him to walk to work and me to drive to work. We said our goodbyes.

After I pick him up after work we plan to go home quick to do a few things. Than go out to eat somewhere than the Celtic Woman Concert tonight at 8pm! It will be really nice but it will be kind of late when it’s done.

Other than that stuff I’m just trying to be patient for responses. 1. To hopefully get a response from 2 job offers I applied to, but I have not idea when I will get a response 2. From our landlord about a kitty.

Now just my normal book reading, and typing up papers for the day. How exciting! Lol

Have a wonderful Thursday!

10 month Anniversary

Tuesday evening-

Spencer and I came home from work and made pork chops for dinner. Then played some Sims for a little while. Later we went to Smith’s to get some much needed groceries. And we bought Sushi so I could try some. When we got home I put away the groceries and tried some of the sushi… GROSS! Lol but Spencer likes the California Roll type that we got so he just eats it.
Then we went to playing Sims again so we need more to do lol
We read our books before going to bed around 11.

Wednesday-

It’s our 10 month Anniversary! =]
I deleted Sims Free Play on my phone because it was beginning to be too much. Then we played Sims this morning and got our lunches ready. We talked about maybe calling our Landlord and re asking if we can have a cat. But maybe tell him he can keep our deposit when we leave and we will keep the cat in the bathroom while we are gone and get the carpet deep cleaned when we leave. We need something else living in that house because we talk to our stuffed animals like they are real pets. I don’t want to become a crazy person. Then it’s raining today but I don’t mind too much. Spencer has meetings tonight and then we plan on cleaning and not playing Sims tonight. We will watch TV or doing something else we need a break lol
My cold is slowly going away so that’s pretty nice. Other than that I plan to eat lots of fruits I brought and my carrots. Then type up some pages and read some of my books! I need to get back to reading The TMJ healing plan book so I can start changing a few things. I hope we can get a pet!!! If not then I will just deal with it.

Have a fantastic Wednesday!

Sims baby boy

Monday evening-

I played Sims on my phone ALL day at work. The time really flew by. Then Spencer and I made spaghetti for dinner and watched one of the general conference talks for FHE. Then I applied for a job at ITT Exelis, it requires only a High School degree and I know how to do most of the things. There are a few I wouldn’t know how to do unless they explained to me how their system works. It would keep me pretty busy so we shall see how that turns out. It would be nice to have a full time job for once. Then Spencer and I mostly played Sims all night =]

Tuesday-

We got up and hurried to the laundry mat to do our laundry for the week. It took about an hour or so. Then I came home and did dishes while Spencer got ready for the day. Then put our clean clothes away and packed my snacks for the day. We received some nice rain this morning, more than we probably did that weekend it said it would rain a lot.
Other than that I plan to type up a few things, read some books, and play Sims on my phone! Woot Woot

I LOVE music! =]

Oh so Spencer is playing Sims 3 and it’s our family, so him and I. And the Sims I got pregnant. She actually threw up in the toilet, and gets bigger and waddles. And you actually go to the hospital to have the baby. It’s so much more complex than it was in Sims 1. I think its cool they get bigger though (and its not a full 9 months of course but still). It’s pretty funny, so our Sims family had a baby boy and we named him Bentley. I just think it’s so funny.

Anyways enjoy your day!

What woman want expo

Friday evening-

We ordered Dominos Pizza for dinner. Then we watched some TV shows and relaxed. Basically I should have taken a short nap before going to do the temple cleaning. Either way it was a pretty good experience. I mainly just did dusting and sanitizing. They had 17 more people than expected so we got a lot done in a reasonable amount of time. We started around 10pm and ended around 12am. It was weird to be in the temple that late but it was a calming experience.
We came home and pretty much went straight to bed, around 1am.

Saturday-

We got up around 9am and slowly got ready for the morning. We went to Jessica’s house to meet up with them and my parents. Jessica, my mom, and I went to “What woman want expo thing”. We met up with my friend Channelle. It took up maybe an hour and a half to walk through the whole thing. It was packed! We signed up for all sorts of packages to win. Hopefully I will win something cool. Than just sampled a few things. I did buy this whisk, it’s so cool! All you do is push up and down and it whips things up in half the time. I was pretty tired and we finished so we left. As we walked out it started raining hard and hailing. We made it through finally. And shortly after meeting up with the guys we all parted our separate ways. Then Spencer and I relaxed and did a few things. We ended up watching some TV and towards the end of the night I played Sims 3 on our play station. It’s been awhile since I’ve played it. We got to bed a little later.

Sunday-

I started having cold symptoms. I had a sore throat, a cough, a runny nose, and cramps from my period. It was a rough morning. But I was able to get ready and head to church.
Nursery wasn’t too bad but it was a lot louder today than past weeks. But we eventually got through it. I did the lesson on the scriptures. And we took them for a walk around the building since it wasn’t to bad outside and they had the wiggles. Other than a few kids crying nothing crazy happened. Then I went home and skyped with Bishop Salisbury! It’s been awhile and it was nice to chat. We caught up in about an hour or so. Then Spencer came home and we said goodbye. Then soon after we made lunch/dinner and watched Phineas and Ferb. (Hopefully I spelled that right). Then I took a 3 hour nap, not meaning too. Spencer did the dishes again, how sweet of him!! Then we snacked on and off and started to play Sims again. I missed playing it on the computer, so I found a downloadable version through Amazon only the Sims 2 version. That took the WHOLE night to download.

Monday morning-

We got up around 8:30 and Spencer went out to run a few errands. Then the game on my computer was done so I played that until 10:30am this morning and Spencer came home and played the playstation version as well. We ate donuts for breakfast! It was a good morning. I know what I’m going to do when we get home later today. I’ve missed playing that game.

Work isn’t too bad today but being sick doesn’t make it really easy. Just plan to work on typing up papers and reading my book! Other than that not much is happening today.

Enjoy the good weather we are soon to get!

Hot Fudge Brownie Milkshake =]

Thursday evening-

Work went fairly well. I got a lot of papers typed up and figured out. And all went well. It was Spencer’s last day of school!! I went to this one restaurant to get a milkshake: hot fudge brownie… so good! I got chicken strips too but they weren’t as good as I remember them being. Then I went home and watched some TV while I ate. I decided not to go to Institute because I wanted to be home when Spencer got home and I knew he would probably get home earlier than usual. I didn’t tell him though; I was going to surprise him! But he figured it out anyways lol We read our scriptures and ate some food before reading our books and heading to bed.

Friday-

We slept in a little bit. I have a hard time sleeping in now. I would rather get up around 7 or 7:30. Today I got up around 8:30 but I didn’t sleep much between 7:00-8:30. Spencer slept in a little though. I decided to read my book this morning. He woke up and did the dishes and made some lunch/breakfast for himself. I snacked a little and then kept reading my book. We eventually both soon got ready for the day and both headed our separate ways to work. So far work is going well, its Friday so it’s not super busy. I’m pretty excited for the weekend as always!!

Tonight we are helping clean the temple. It’s the first time I’ve done it so I’m pretty excited it’s going to be from 9:45pm-12:00. I will be tired but it will be a good experience.

So since I’ve been married I’ve lost 2 pieces of laundry. One of my purple towels and my size 6 black pencil skirt. I have NO idea where they have gone. 1. That’s the only pencil skirt that fits me the best the rest are size 8 or 10. I swore I’ve been washing and wearing it but maybe it’s been size 8. We have done our laundry at 4 places since we’ve been married. 1. My sisters 2. My parents 3. The laundry mat 4. Andrew’s apartment
I just have no idea. I mean we have in California too but I don’t think I ever brought my pencil skirt there…. Maybe I did. If anyone has found it LET ME KNOW PLEASE!!!! I just barely bought it in November.

Anyways Saturday I’m going to this women event thing with my mom and Jessica. My dad, Spencer, and J are going to hang out. I’ve never been to something like this but I have free tickets and thought I might as well check it out if someone wanted to go with me. Other than that I don’t have anything else planned that day.

Have a fantastic Friday!!! Enjoy your upcoming weekend.

Thunderstorms expected

Wednesday afternoon-

Basically I went home and watched TV shows while Spencer was at church. I didn’t really do any cleaning but our house has stayed fairly clean besides the kitchen but I will work on that tonight. He came home fairly late. We read our scriptures than read our own books and started getting ready for bed. I put in my jaw splint for the night.

Thursday-

I woke up a few times my tongue is kind of sore from it rubbing and hit the jaw splint in the night. Other than that its Spencer’s last day of school this semester!!! I mean he only gets like a 3 week break until the next semester but it just means he is getting closer and closer! I woke up around 8:30 and watched a few episodes on Hulu then some Rachel Ray. I packed my lunch for work and off I went. We didn’t get a thunderstorm last night like I hoped for. But they say we will have one today through Saturday. Hopefully one of those days we will actually get a good rain fall and thunderstorm. Especially in the day time bring on a storm! =] My hair did a pretty natural curl this morning that always makes me happy. Not too much going on today though. The clouds are looking ready to burst.

It’s almost Friday, man the week sure goes by fast and I feel better than I did at the beginning of the week. A lot has happened but has been fixed =]

Just going to do my normal reading and typing up papers. Yay how exciting! =]

Enjoy your Thursday

Tonight I’m going to institute to talk about Elder Eyrings talk.

My jaw splint, see kind of looks like a retainer =]

Jaw Splint

Tuesday afternoon-

Work went by fairly fast as I tried to figure out a few things. Then I picked up Spencer from work and we headed home and made Tacos. Yummy yummy. Then around 7pm I went to the Book Club. We talked about “The secret life of Bees”, and it was pretty fun. It was awhile ago that I finished the book but once we started talking I remembered more and more. It is a pretty good read and you learn quite a lot about bees. Then after we talked about the book we just wanted to talk as girls. Especially me because I don’t get out a lot of times. I still am getting to know some of the girls so it was nice to chat a little bit. As woman we did talk about our husbands a little bit. One talked about some things she hates having to remind him. It was funny because I was going to defend Spencer. =] Which is a good thing, I never got around to doing it though because the subject was changed to dreams before I got around to bringing it up. It was a fairly nice night. Then I came home and Spencer and I read our scriptures and then our own personal books. I slept fairly well except for my mind kept thinking I was going to wake up to a snake because we were talking about creepy animals at the book club.

Wednesday morning-

I got up around 6:30am and sent Spencer off to school. Then I watched Glee, it was the come back episode and honestly I thought it was pretty lame. (I won’t say much more because then I might give it away for those who haven’t seen it yet) Then I got ready to head to my jaw appointment. I paid the 1,748 bill for my upcoming appointments. And got all the insurance figured out and they sent out my papers to them. Then I went in the back to get the jaw splint fitted to my mouth. I need to wear it at night and if I have a hard time keeping my teeth apart during the day I need to wear it for about 30 minutes. It went fairly well. Then my doctor said if I wasn’t going to be on this birth control until August then I don’t have to change my birth control right now. And I was able to take ALL my pills except the fish oil and calcium. I did try really hard this morning but they are just so big. He said it was okay for me to just take my gummy vitamins for calcium and get the liquid form of fish oil at the health food store. (I’m not sure where that is though) So we are all good to go and I’m less stressed. I got it all paid off and things figured out. Now I just need to read the TMJ book which helps me fix other little things. For example posture and proper swallowing and talking… etc.
I came home and made Beef Stew in the Crockpot for dinner so it will be ready when we get home. Then I did the dishes and plan to clean tonight while Spencer is at church!

Then Spencer and I figured that June 1st-2nd we are going to stay in a hotel in Park City for our Anniversary on the 18th. We got a 30% discount because we did it at the beginning of the month. The first hotel that was cheaper you had to be 25 to get a room which was ridiculous I think. So Spencer looked around and found a deal and an 18 year old limit! =] So I’m super excited to go up there for a little while. So I came to work and got that day off so I wouldn’t forget. We got the ink in the mail so I just changed it out and were all set to go now! =]

I feel great right now, life is moving in the right direction finally. For the work day I plan to read my books and type up some journals. It’s going to be a pretty good day today before our 3 day rain storm. (So the weather says) But we need the moisture so I’m okay with it as long as there is no more snow. =]

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

The Hunger Games

Monday afternoon-

I wanted to scream at work. I had so many questions without answers and NO ONE was there to answer them. So I left messages and emails hoping to get a reply in the morning. Nothing! Now we got postage figured out so that was no problem but we need more ink so we can print the postage. But I’m not sure how to do that because the person I’ve been trying to ask hasn’t been responding to me. And postage is VERY important as part of my job. We need to send out mail. Sigh and it just got worse. Anyways I was really trying to stay calm but it wasn’t working. So after dinner Spencer said we should go to the movies to distract me from work issues. We went to see The Hunger Games. It was LONG! Not too bad but it was violent which I didn’t care to see. When I read the book I didn’t need to see the violence. There were some parts that made more since by seeing them act it out. Others parts were kind of confusing. It was pretty good but not like OMG that was so good. But it was a fairly good distraction. We had some popcorn and lemonade. We got home about 9:45. So I hurried and wrote in my journal and took a quick shower. Then I went to bed fairly fast. Usually I lay there and think about a lot of things but I just wouldn’t let myself last night it’s not very healthy for me. But I can’t always control it.

Tuesday-

I slept until about 8:30pm and then got up to watch The Price is Right and Rachel Ray. I learned a few things. I got some things ready for my jaw appointment tomorrow, I’m a little nervous. Then I sprayed the house to get rid of some spiders I found. Then got ready for work. It’s another nice day outside. I am a little more relaxed today. Just need to take some deep breaths and calm myself down. So far so good and I would rather feel calm then upset. Now just deciding if I want to change birth control. Either stay on the pill or go to an IEU kind. I will compare and see what will happen.
Now at work I got a little frustrated about the ink stuff again but was able to get it all figured out. So we ordered 2 and it went a lot more smoothly than it did last time. Thank heavens that’s over so we should get them tomorrow. They are needed! Now just reading Henry B. Eyring’s talk from General Conference “Mountains to Climb” for institute on Thursday.
Thursday is Spencer’s last day of school for this semester! It’s super exciting stuff.
Now wish me luck to get through this day.

Grr my nose is BUGGING me today its probably allergies now kicking in. Oh joy

Four day weekend/Happy Easter

Friday was a NO work day for me! Sadly Spencer had to work and still go to school but I was able to get a lot done. At around 10am I was dressed and had eaten. So I started to clean the bedroom and the closets and reorganize the clothes. I changed the sheets to cooler ones for the warmer temperature outside. Then I moved on to the living room. I dusted and I dusted. I reorganized all the shelves and vacuumed the carpet. Then on to the kitchen where I did ALL the dishes and dried them and put them away. Then I organized the fridge and some cupboards. Then moved to the bathroom to clean the sink, toilet, and mirrors and reorganized the shelves then swept and mopped the floors. Afterwards I organized the backroom a little bit and got rid of things we didn’t need. I did stand on the office chair and fell off on to the floor but luckily I moved my body enough that I didn’t smack my head into the corner of the wall. THAT would have hurt! Then needed a few things for dinner. So I walked to Smiths since Spencer had the car for the day. It was a fairly nice walk only took me about 30 minutes there and back ish. Then I got ready to make Chicken Pot Pie for dinner! Later we watched Freedom Writers for his class.

Then Saturday we got up around 8am to get ready for the day. Spencer went to school to do much needed homework. Then I went to Suki’s Bridal shower. It was really good to see her again. Now the party was very awkward… and Suki will agree with me on that one. No point to go into detail but it was not totally what I expected. It was kind of like a Tupperware Party but a different kind. I was NOT a fan of the sales lady. I had a really hard time not judging her. She said she was Mormon but I think she was bringing that up a lot because the group was Mormon so she was advertising in our area. But if she was really Mormon she wouldn’t be selling some things she was selling. I am almost positive it is not okay for her to sell those things. (Half of them anyways) She just really got to me and I was so close to just saying something out loud to make her stop but it wouldn’t have been nice. But it was an interesting experience.
Then off I went to Karlissa’s bridal shower. It was put together very nice. And her fiancé stopped by it was hilarious. The food was great. I am really glad I got to see her. Both of my friends are lucky to have the fiancé’s they have.

It was funny though because the first thing out of both of their mouths were OH MY GOSH you are SO skinny, have you lost weight? You look so good! Lol it was really nice but it took me off guard every time and all eyes were towards me. I wanted to say they looked good to but by the time they stopped telling me all of that it felt weird to re bring it up.
One of the first thoughts in my head though was “was I really huge or something before?” I know I wasn’t that big but I didn’t lose SO much but then again I see myself all the time so I don’t think I look that different.
It was a really nice compliment though. =]

Then I came home and Spencer and I made Fried Chicken. It wasn’t too bad but not like KFC chicken or anything. Then we watched The Audrey Hepburn Story movie, it wasn’t too bad but LONG. Afterwards we went to Smiths and found some good deals on picture frames. I am super excited to add pictures to them soon. It was nice to get out of the house for a little bit.

Then Happy Easter on Sunday! The kids in nursery made me laugh a lot. They just can really put a smile on your face. I love this calling, its one of my favorites! I’ve taken some pretty good pictures too of each of them. We took them for a walk around the church too because it was so nice outside for once.

After church Spencer and I got ready and headed out to Tooele to celebrate Easter. Jessica and Jerimiah were there. We had a yummy ham dinner and then enjoyed the outdoors for awhile. We took Neyo, the Guinea Pig, outside to enjoy some grass and the sunshine. He is such a funny Guinea Pig. Poor Jerimiah got hurt a few times. But we were able to calm him down and he got right back on the swing set. We had a fairly nice time. We did watch Evan Almighty and that’s a pretty good movie. Then around 8pm Spencer and I left back to Salt Lake City. We took my parents Honda Civic because my mom is going to do the inspection on my car so we can update the license plate stickers. (I really hope it passes, it should)

When I got home I did the dishes, then folded and put away all the laundry just so it was done and out of the way. Then Spencer and I read a little bit and headed to bed.

This morning I took him to school and applied to graduate FINALLY. I’ve been a little slow on the process. But luckily I was able to get it all done in a reasonable amount of time and then turned it in. I think everything should be good to go. (I hope so) Then I will finally have my certificate. Then Spencer’s one class was cancelled so we went to Denny’s for some breakfast. They have an amazing Pomegranate Berry Smoothie, its limited time only. Then I dropped him back off at school and hurried home to get ready for work.

Here I am back at work. No offense but I didn’t miss work that much. It is nice to be home and doing other things. Some day hopefully I will get a call about another job that will keep be fairly busy. Until then I try to distract myself from my mind wandering to problems I have or worries I have in general.

Hope you all had a good Easter! Now back to real life. =]

Happy Birthday to my wonderful friend Channelle today! A few days ago our friend Mariah had her birthday too. Happy birthday to you wonderful friends!

Ending of One Tree Hill

Last night Spencer and I went to Applebee’s. I had received a gift card for my birthday from work for Applebee’s so I figured we could go. We were full really fast so we have leftovers but it wasn’t too bad. Then Spencer did a few church things and I watched the last episode EVER of One Tree Hill…..
I cried it’s true. It’s almost like their family and to think you will never see them again. But the episode was put together very nicely and ended everything really well. They did have some inspirational quotes and sayings that I loved. If I think of any I will post them later.

Than Spencer and I did some scripture reading and I stayed up to read more of my book.
Man it was a pretty good book.
I went to bed around 11 but woke up around 1am really hot! We need to change our sheets to cooler temperature ones. And maybe put on a fan. It took me awhile to cool down and fall back asleep. But we awoke around 7:30 and I stayed up! I feel a little sleepy but not as groggy as I do if I sleep until 9 or 10. I hope I can keep this up and clean in the mornings and relax in the evenings. I did finish reading my book this morning! Then I missed Spencer and had some time to kill before work so I stopped by the school to talk with him a little bit.

Now I’m just studying up on Elder Holland’s talk for institute tonight. And answer the questions we were given to answer. It’s kind of quite in the office since everyone left for lunch.

We have work off tomorrow for Good Friday!! I love holidays just because it means no work/school for me! Spencer sadly still has work and school so I plan to make the house super clean and surprise him with a real homemade dinner, one I love to make. I’m really excited; hopefully I can get it all done!

It’s a little chilly outside today but not too bad. After work I plan to find some spearmints to get my breathe minty instead of gum. I am supposed to get paid today but it hasn’t showed up in my bank account. Hopefully it will by tomorrow morning. We need money to pay off my jaw appointments.

It’s going to be SPRING CLEANING tomorrow. I am actually kind of excited about it. I just hope I can really get it all done. Maybe take a break here or there. Since our house is small I should have enough time to get into little corners and spaces. Also maybe spray for spiders; they will be coming back soon. We finally got rid of the ants that we had in the winter time.

Job option *cross your fingers*

I know I’m sorry I didn’t write in my blog yesterday but it would have been a really boring post.

Yesterday Spencer and I slept in and then both got ready for work. Nothing super exciting at work either I just read a book mostly and watched a few TV shows.

Then we had potato soup for dinner and Spencer did some homework while I watched the movie Robots. That is a really funny movie, its one of my favorites.

We’ve decided that every Monday we are going to listen to one of the talks given in General Conference. And then when we finish the Book of Mormon we will read each hymn or child’s hymn and the scriptures that relate to the hymn. It’s going to be really exciting especially since I like music.

This morning I slept in a little bit but not too much. My dad said at his work they will be posting the receptionist/clerical positions tomorrow. He told me to send him my resume. Hopefully I can at least get an interview. It is full time job and $16/hr which is much needed since I’m not doing anything else but working part time right now.

Then we can get insurance maybe through me working full time. It would be a longer work day but I am not doing anything else and we need the money to save up for future things in our lives.

If we do start a family sometime in the future then if needed my mom is close to my work and could watch the baby. I would probably work full time until Spencer was done with school. And who knows we might end up moving closer to Tooele so that it would be easier for my mom to watch our kids if needed.

This is just thoughts and something that would work out nicely. Just me planning ahead in case this option does work out. =] New things are exciting and can be frustrating because it does take time to learn new things.

One Tree Hill’s LAST EPISODE is tonight, it’s a 2 hours episode. I’m either going to watch it on TV or on my phone tomorrow. Either way I’m almost positive it’s going to make me cry. It’s been a good run.

For institute tomorrow we are going to talk about Elder Holland’s talk from this April’s General Conference. It was a pretty good talk but I was hoping we would talk about the one talk we planned on talking on. (I can’t remember off the top of my head which one it was) Oh well it will be good to listen to it again.

I’m wearing flip flops today because it said it would be 70 degrees outside today. It’s been a long time since I’ve worn my flip flops it feels weird.

Other than that I plan to just read a book mostly at work and typed up a few things, I’m almost done with one of the books I’ve needed to type one. Then one more left. How exciting I’ve done so much lately.

Also I’m exciting to get my jaw splint next Wednesday because it will be more supportive I feel than me trying to keep my teeth apart myself. I just need to try again to take those big pills if it’s still hard I might talk to him and ask if there is another way I can repair my bone in my jaw.

I don’t want to get birth control that is inserted into my body but if he thinks I really need to then I guess I will have to make a doctors appointment.
Here is a piece of advice, strap your children to a chair so they can’t jump around and risk falling on their jaw. Haha I’m just kidding but I was a crazy kid and jumped on furniture with a friend when I was 2 or 3 and smacked my chin/jaw on something and bit through my lip. That’s what caused all of my jaw problems. There is no way to really control your child all the time.

Enjoy the wonderful day outside and drink LOTS of water! =]

182nd General Conference

I should have written this blog earlier today because now I’m exhausted and I might forget something I wanted to say.

First off Happy Monday! Another week isn’t it so exciting. Lol

Friday night Spencer and I relaxed a little bit. We got a movie from Smith’s that has 10 shows on it and then some free baskin robins ice cream for me. Then we went back to the house and watched this one church movie on TV until the guys got back.
We then watched a Law and Order show, I love those shows but sometimes they give me nightmares.

Then off to bed for the night. We both slept pretty well, Spencer did because he had medicine to help him. We think he had a fever and he was achy.

It’s so bittersweet when General Conference is over. It’s kind of sad but I learned a lot. And this time I had an experience, I got and answer to my prayer. And I was overwhelmed with this feeling in my chest or aka the Holy Ghost. The spirit had touched me and I knew what I needed to do. I still must wait a little but I’m ready! =] (My answer doesn’t really matter to anyone else right now)

Afterwards we had yummy Roast Beef and mashed potatoes. Oh btw it snowed all during Conference on Sunday in Tooele. Yuck!
Then Spencer and I slowly got ready and headed back to Salt Lake City to complete a few things before getting ready to go to bed. We were both tired and kind of sick. But we made it to bed and slept pretty well.

I had a full work day today so I had to hurry and get ready in the morning.
Nothing to crazy happened today though. It’s just been kind of slow and I’ve been trying to keep myself awake.

I guess I should wrap this up! Can’t wait to go home and maybe take a nap or something! (Besides I do need to finish the dishes and put away some clothes but that’s it)

Have a great day!
