Seek for more

On Saturday Spencer and I slept in and later he got his homework done.

Around 11am my parents came over and we took them out to Red Robin for their Anniversary. It was nice to sit down and talk about the random things going on.

My citation ended up being go to court or pay $90; I paid the 90 because I am terrified of having to go to court. I think that was SUPER expensive for just a stop sign but whatever.

After my parents left Spencer and I relaxed around the house and spent some quality time together for once. We usually have hectic weekends. He walked down to the church and then to smiths to get me beautiful flowers and ice cream! Later we were going to go to the temple but realized that it was closed. Instead Spencer took me to the parking lot where we had our first kiss =] my old apartment which is close by. Then we rented movies from Blockbuster and ordered Pizza Hut pizza! Yummy!

Then came along Sunday, it was fast Sunday. I’ve been trying to do better at fasting for the whole time but I do drink water because this year I’ve been feeling super sick every time I fast. But if I drink water it’s not as bad. We only had 6 kids in nursery and it was fairly quite. I taught a lesson on Sharing and it was kind of scary to teach them. But it went pretty well, and they colored and we blew bubbles. I really don’t like blowing bubbles because it’s super messy.

We ended up going home afterwards and watched The Help, which was pretty good. Then broke our fast around 3pm. We took a little nap around 4pm but ended up sleeping longer then we meant to… 6:30pm. It was much needed though.

Later we watched some TV and stayed up a little later since we weren’t as tired because of our nap. I personally didn’t fall asleep until about 1 or 1:30am. Then this morning I got up late because I just didn’t want to get out of bed…. The usual. Then off to get ready and fill up the car with gas and drop off the movies.

Now at work I started off with messing everything up. Two people told me it was the copier that wasn’t working but I kept hearing the printer. They both kind of do the same thing and I was just messed up and I called a Will instead of a Wes to come help fix them. Man it was a lot of mix up on my part. I feel super bad. I really need to focus and listen better for the rest of the day.

I just finished our dinner food plans for the next 2 weeks then tonight Spencer and I are going to Costco and Wal-mart to restock on our food supplies. It will be a fairly busy night but much needed.

Christ is always there. In the darkest hours of the night and the longest hours of the day, He is there. He is accessible and available at a moment’s notice.

* Examine your life. What is your greatest need? Sometime today find a way to seek the Lord. Find in Christ the answers you long for. Dare to reach a new level of understanding.

- My greatest need is probably knowing what pathway I should take. I’m not quite sure. Right now I seem to be doing well just want to focus my life more on Christ and the church.
