RIP Whitney Houston

Saturday Spencer and I slept in a little while. Then slowly got ready for the day. Around 1pm we went to Trio to eat lunch with his Aunt Glady Sue and Cousin Melanie. The Spaghetti was delicious as always! And I ate lots and was stuffed. Then back home where Spencer did some homework while I did a few things. Then we stopped at Walgreens to get a few items. Around 6pm we went to a church activity. It was a mix between celebrating Abraham Lincoln and chili cook off. It was pretty nice. Next we left to go see the movie “One for the money” at gateway. It was nice to go to an actual theater. It was not too bad of a movie. We got home and went pretty much straight to bed.

Sunday morning Spencer left for meetings and I got ready for church. It was raining outside but I made it to church fairly dry. During sacrament meeting I sat next to cute little Evia. Then we went to nursery and we had all 8 kids but just 2 leaders today. At first it went fairly well, not too many fights or crying. Later we had messy cupcakes for Valentines Day and then a lot of crying and attitudes. They sure keep you busy especially when you’re left alone with all 8 off and on. Then I went home to upload the pictures I took during nursery and a few other things. We took a small nap and ate some food. Then later I watched The Grammys. It wasn’t too bad, if there were songs on or people that I didn’t care for then I just muted it until they were done. =] But Adele did really amazing on all the awards she got, and she is blonde! I had a rough night but eventually went to sleep.

Spencer stayed home this morning with me and we slept in and exchanged our Valentines Day gifts today instead of tomorrow. It was a really nice morning =] He is a fantastic husband. Then left for work wearing the beautiful heart necklace he bought me, he always got me a stuffed monkey =]

Today I plan to read my book and maybe read next weeks Sunday School lesson, maybe do a family home evening night with the lesson. The tonight is clean the bedroom and do some dishes. The dinner is going to be chicken enchiladas hopefully. Then we will just watching a movie or a show for the rest of the night.

RIP Whitney Houston… if you haven’t seen it yet, I uploaded a video of me when I was 3 on Facebook of me singing “I will always love you”. It’s cute, or so I think!
