Friday night Spencer and I had dinner together. Then Channelle and I went out. We tried Gravity hill, and it didn’t work for us. I can’t find anyone who knows how to do it right. Apparently you put your car in neutral and you’re supposed to get pulled backwards. Then we went to a chocolate place by the hospital in the Avenues. It’s called The Chocolatires. Very yummy chocolate and I ate a banana split =]
Afterwards we tried to find the midget village and we finally did but it’s hidden. Supposedly it’s hidden and if you try to go back there a midget guard will come out. Anyways after that Channelle dropped me off. It was nice to get out and see all the random stuff in Utah . Then Spencer and I went to bed fairly soon because it was going to be a LONG Saturday. We got up early and met up with my mom, Jessica, and J. Then we drove to Orem to help Stephanie and Rick move to Tremonton. It was a very windy day but other than that it wasn’t too bad outside. And when we were up there we visited a little with Rick’s family. Then off to good old Salt Lake City . We got home about 5pm. We didn’t do a whole lot. Spencer did some much needed homework. Then we went to Best Buy to get two movies 1. The sister Act 1 & 2 2. August Rush. Then we went to dinner at Chili’s. We wanted to go to Olive Garden but it was a 45 minute wait. Darn it. It wasn’t too bad but I should have ordered something else then the sandwich I ordered.
Then Sunday was a pretty nice day. I hurried and got up and ready for church. In sacrament they talked about missionary work. Then in nursery we had 5 kids. We had one that cried at least 3-4 times in those 2 hours over silly things. But hey they are just little kids. But what I did witness was lots of love that these little kids have. 1. We heard a lot of sorry 2. We had hugs happen even though we didn’t tell them to hug 3. We had some go up and say are you okay or what’s wrong to those that were crying.
I forgot my camera or I would have taken a picture of the kids hugging each other. It brought tears to my eyes. I didn’t cry but I could of. They just remind you every day of how easy it is to forever and love others. It was really sweet. Other than that I taught the lesson on Noah and the ark. They each got to pick up an animal picture and make the noise and we taped two of each animal up on the chalk board next to the Ark. =]
Afterwards I went home and watched some movies on Netflix until Spencer got home. We watched another movie and did some more of our puzzle and had our pizza. Then I read a little bit of my book and watched some of the Oscars. Hugo won like 5 awards so i'm thinking Spencer and I need to rent it sometime once it comes out.
I slept okay until about 4am which is when Spencer’s alarm went off because he was going to get up at 4. But I don’t think he got up until about 5am. I slept until 6am and hurried and got ready for my long day at work. I was surprisingly awake by 6:30 and I have been ever since. I’m sure half way through the day I will get a little sleepy.
I did notice I am past due on an oil change for the car so hopefully I can do that and my laundry tomorrow before work. Then just figuring out what to write for a letter to a friend for her birthday. It’s going to take a lot of thinking. Then just FHE tonight and grocery shopping.
On a random note I have a scar on my knuckle… and I just realized it looks like a mini heart. It’s super cute! <3
A lot of people are out today at work but so far it’s a fairly normal day. I will probably just make a grocery list, read my book, type up some pages, and eat food. =]
Is this the gravity hill your speaking of?

Thats the one! We followed the directions and we rolled forward not backwards but it seems like its the wrong place. So i'm not sure...
