Birthday weekend!

Friday night we got Cache!!!! He is just a hoot! He made me laugh so much. Cache knew Spencer and my name so that was really cool. I honestly didn’t think he could say them. We played with him inside for a bit, jumping on the bed and making stuffed animals fly. Then we went outside and walked to our church gym. I would chase him around the gym. And he would go ready set….go! He said help help. He clapped when someone made a basket. And he even hopped like a bunny a few times. Then I was ready to go home. We let him watch some Diego shows while we settled down for the day. He ate chicken nuggets, and fruit loops. He would run around in circles. He even tried to climb our pole in our living room. Lol Then he tried to climb this one table and so I hit him in the butt (in a funny way not mean) and he turned around and starting laughing. Then I did it again and he turned around pointed at me and said “you, you funny!” lol it was hilarious! Then it was ten so we said it was bed time. He got this really sad look on his face but then got ready. That look just broke my heart I almost wanted to say just kidding you don’t have to go to bed. It almost made me cry. But he went to bed and everything just fine. And said “I love you too mommy”, he says that to pretty much everyone. Aw it was just so cute. But he fell asleep pretty much right away. I woke up to him sitting on the floor but he was pretty much still asleep but I laid him back down. Then I went back to bed. But every noise he made I woke up to make sure he was okay. So I didn’t really get a good night’s sleep but its okay.

Then in the morning around 730 he shut our bedroom door. Spencer went and opened it and saw Cache just standing there. Lol He put on Diego for him and cut up strawberries and put out fruit loops for him too. =] Then we got ready to go to Tooele. He slept through the night but he was kind of cranky sometimes so I don’t know if he slept really good or not. Around 12 we celebrated Stephanie’s, J’s, and my birthday and we also included Stephanie’s friend Leah too. Stephanie turned 25 on the 10^th, J turned 5 on the 11^th, and Leah turned 24 on the 6^th or 8^th I can’t remember. I turn 21 on the 28^th.  We had superman DQ cake. J got a lot of presents and was pretty excited about them all. Then I got hymns and primary songs on CD from my mom and a primary little song book. =] I have other presents coming later. Also an iTunes gift card from Jon and Mallorie. We had lots of fun playing with the toys and Paul, Leah’s husband, loves playing with Jerimiah. So they had a blast together.

Then around 2 we went to Stansbury to take family pictures. I don’t mind taking pictures but I feel bad every time because Cache just HATES getting pictures taken. It’s so sad. But hopefully a lot of the pictures turned out good. We should get them next week sometime. It was pretty nice outside but a little windy which made it kind of chilly. Then off we went home to relax a bit. Cache fell asleep in the car for about 2 hours and then they left to go home around 5. We ate some yummy tacos for dinner. And of course had some more DQ cake.

Around 730 Jessica, J, and Spencer left to go back to Salt Lake City. Man it’s always hard to say good bye to your spouse. But I wanted to go to church with my parents on Sunday. So when they left I went to clean out my hope chest. Man I had a ton of stuff in there that was not worth keeping lol it was fun to go through them it all though. Then we had that lame time change so didn’t sleep super well.

I hurried to get ready for church, Stephanie, rick, my mom, and dad, and I went to church. My dad got called as the 2^nd counselor in the bishopric so that was nice to see. It will keep him busy but will be a great experience. It was the first time in a while that I went to all three classes. I’m used to going to nursery so it was a little hard to focus. Lol But it was great especially my mom’s lesson in relief society about the priesthood. =]

Then ran into some people that said hi to me. It was nice to catch up with a few people. Then we went home and ate some lunch and watch some TV shows. I finished up all the laundry and folded it. Then around 2pm I left to go home. Spencer had done the dishes for me which was super nice! Then I ate more food because I was still hungry. And man was I sleepy. I fell asleep on the couch for a couple minutes. But we basically watched Jimmy Neutron and later we went for a short walk outside since it was so nice that day. Then around 9pm we started getting ready for bed. It took me awhile to fall asleep but finally I did around 1am probably. Then I slept in this morning but did get up to make Spencer’s lunch and tell him goodbye.

This morning I hurried and put roast beef in the Crockpot. It’s one of food nanny’s recipes, and I’m not sure if I will like it or not. But we shall see. Then off to work, it’s another nice sunny day out today. =]

I am excited to get off work though like always.

I called my dentist about my jaw hopefully he can help.

Also Wednesday I’m going to go renew my driver’s license.

My dad fixed the horn on our car!

The sunshine sure makes me happy and think of summer even though I don’t get summer off of work or anything.

It was a great weekend, I love being able to see my family and spend some time with them. We didn’t do a few things we wanted to but we still had fun. =]
