Friday evening-
After work I went to the store to get some nasal spray and a few other things and realized when I walked to the care that it was a lot cheaper than I had thought. So I checked the receipt and realized the lady didn’t scan it all so I went back inside to her registry and told her and she goes thanks for coming back in. It just felt like the right thing to do and hopefully I will always be an example like that and my kids will notice what’s right and what’s wrong. Spencer did the dishes, yay! And I’ve realized I’ve been doing a few things without realizing I’m doing it so that’s been fun. Other than that we watched some of our Netflix shows on TV.
Saturday-
We got up this morning and Spencer did some cleaning while I got ready for the day. Around noon we went to Pier 49 pizza with Andrew & Maryanne. They had yummy cheesy breadsticks, and there pizza wasn’t too bad but I did not like their dessert pizza. We pretty much sat and talked for a little while then there was an awkward moment that I won’t discuss here. Later we headed out to the Nickel arcade and played some games and won some tickets. I did at one point kind of have a dizzy moment because it was crowded, loud, hot, and I was hungry so I had to sit down and then after a little bit ate a little bit. After we were all done they dropped us off at our house. Then a little while later I headed out to Tooele for my dad to look at my car. He fixed it to where the brake light was off and my mom and I sat and talked for awhile. Then around 7:30 I met up with my friend Megan at Coldstone. YUMMY ice cream and we sat and talked. She will be leaving on a mission and I wanted to see her before she had to leave. On my way home I got pulled over by a cop… the passenger headlight was out. So I only got a warning but it was ridiculous because on my way to Tooele I was thinking about how I should have my dad check my lights and when I got there I totally forgot to ask him about it. Either way the cop probably would have pulled me over because I wouldn’t have gotten it fixed before heading home. But either way I cried on my way home because I hate getting pulled over but once I told myself it wasn’t my fault, I didn’t do anything wrong I calmed down. I’m pregnant so I’m going to cry over some things. When I got home it was time to get ready for bed.
Sunday-
We got to sleep in a little this morning, yay! We had stake conference around 10am so headed out about 930. It was a pretty good stake conference but I will sadly admit to my mind wandering quite a bit. Afterwards we got to our car that was parked on the side of the road to leave. But the side wheels were stuck on the ice, and there was a car parked behind us (if the car had left soon or wasn’t there we could of gotten out easier). But of course that car seemed to not belong to someone that was at our stake conference. So we sat there and waited to see if the car was going to leave for maybe 10 minutes then Spencer came up with a plan so I got in the driver seat and he did this one thing with one of the wheels. And ta da we were unstuck! So we went on our way to Jessica’s to do some laundry. We ended up watching some
Monday-
This morning I slowly got out of bed and got ready for the day. Then I headed to Auto Zone to buy the light bulb for my headlight. My dad said that sometimes they have people that will help you change it. So I asked the guy that was helping me and he goes I guess I can. I know it’s not there job so I was just grateful he said yes but he really didn’t seem too thrilled to help me which lowered him to 3 stars. And he got out to my car, and his hand wouldn’t fit and he only needed one wrench thing to make his hand fit but he either didn’t know what he was doing so he said his hand didn’t fit to not look stupid OR he was lazy and didn’t want to help a pregnant woman out. But then he went down to 1 maybe 2 stars for my rating. The other guy there would have probably totally helped me but he was working on someone else’s car. Either way I was just upset on how he handled the issue. Anyways so I called one place that says it would cost 24.50 to replace it for me, which seems pricey. And so Spencer and I thought if we couldn’t find someone at my work or our church that we could figure it out. The only problem is that it wouldn’t get done then until maybe Friday or Saturday because we don’t have a lot of time on week days to do things. I have time in the morning but I didn’t want to have to figure it out by myself. So I get to work and the first person I asked said he could do it, score! I gave him my keys and the light bulb so he can get to it when he has time while I clock in and get to work.
Now at work, it’s another slow, slow day I feel so I will work on narrowing down our baby boy names.
Then after work besides a little grocery shopping and doing the dishes I have some visiting teaching to do. Spencer starts back to school today… thankfully the latest classes he has goes until 6:30 so he doesn’t get home too late!
