After work I made Chicken Pot Pie and took one over to the Tanner’s for dinner. I held Emerson, a 3 day old baby! He is so stinkin cute and super tiny. Aw it was crazy to hold something that small, it’s been forever! Spencer and I then went to see The Amazing Spiderman! It was actually a lot better than I thought it was going to be! Now I was upset about the ending (don’t read the rest of this day if you want to see the movie) 1. He didn’t find the man that killed his Uncle 2. He didn’t get together with (Emma Stone Character) which I know he didn’t because she isn’t Mary Jane but I thought they should put a twist on it.
But it had romance, humor, action, good & bad guy. There wasn’t very much swearing either but I would totally recommend this movie! Its movies like this that reminds me how much I LOVE going to see movies! But all of the previews were terrible, what is this world coming too. A preview would look good and then one part was so inappropriate that I didn’t want to see it anymore.
Afterwards I came home and did the dishes!
Saturday-
We both were able to sleep in on a Saturday! It was really nice and then I went to Cynthia’s baby shower. They had a lot of fun activities. It was really funny to see all the outfits because everyone was like awwww. We even played a cool jeopardy game! Her baby is going to be styling.
Afterwards Spencer and I went to Smith’s to get a few things for a Sunday homemade pizza. My dad stopped by and dropped off my vest that my mom got for me! And he stayed and talked with us for a little bit.
For our 13 month Anniversary we went to
SECRET!!! If you want your shower/tub tiles mold free here is how! Dip cotton balls in Bleach and stick them inside all the creases between the tiles. Wait over night or for a couple hours and their WHITE again! I will post pictures later when we finish doing our shower. It requires A LOT of cotton balls for our shower but it’s amazing. You just need some fans to blow around the bleach smell for a little while.
Then I asked Spencer for a blessing… an update.
1. Pray that your body will be healthy and strong when you have children
2. Be quick to love not judge
3. Do all the service that you can
4. I’m very happy with the choices you’ve made in your life
5. Be patient for things
6. Always be open to learn new things
7. Always find a way to be closer to your Heavenly Father
I think that was a pretty good blessing; short, sweet, and to the point!
Sunday-
Didn’t hear my alarm so I was almost late for church. The talks were pretty good, I can’t remember exactly what they were on but I know parts I heard were pretty good. Nursery was pretty crazy today and I had a hard time keeping my cool. I just remind myself that it isn’t like this every Sunday. After church I went home and waited for Spencer to get back. Than we headed to Jessica’s to do laundry. We watched Bride wars, and How to lose a guy in 10 days. Then we made homemade pizza; it wasn’t too bad but the sauce wasn’t very seasoned. Then we had yummy ice cream! All in all a pretty cool evening!
Then I came home and watched the dishes and watched a few TV episodes.
Monday-
I woke up early this morning and got a few things at the store that we needed. Then I took a nap because I didn’t sleep very well. I am always waking up with a sore back and it’s starting to get annoying!
Now it’s just another work day and more Google! Not much today, maybe some TV shows I will watch too.
I can’t wait for our vacation in 44 days!!!
After work I plan to Skype with Suki for a little while.
Countdown-
16 days until something awesome!!!
24 days until Spencer is out of this semester
44 days until Chicago/Iowa!!!
