Mike or Ike

Friday evening-
After work Spencer and I went to A&W for dinner. Then we went to Best Buy to get a new phone for Spencer. We had DIFFICULTIES! We watched more Roswell mostly and I looked up picture idea’s for Quincy’s wedding.

Saturday-
I slept wrong on my back so I was sore for a little bit in the morning. We got donuts for breakfast, yummy!! Then we went to Best Buy again and got everything figured out and Spencer has almost a smaller version of my phone. =] We read up about why Mike or Ike in Mike & Ike is crossed out. They are advertising a “Break-up” between them so who’s side are you on? Mike or Ike’s… I still haven’t decided but they have a blog and Facebook page and you can figure out for yourself! Then we watched more Roswell and I did the dishes. Dishes are NEVER ending even with just 2 people. I made a Chicken Pot Pie dinner for a lady in our ward that had a baby. Then I drove to Syracuse to take pictures for Quincy’s wedding. It was fairly simple but still nerve racking. I didn’t get as emotional though because I was so focused on taking pictures. I ran out of ideas quickly but I got a few good ones. Now I just have to edit what I can and send them out to her.

Sunday-
In Sacrament meeting we talked about Preparedness kits for all tragedies. The nursery leader got called to be on a different committee. I didn’t think I would be upset but I actually had to hold back tears when they released her. Now Rebecca is in nursery. We got a new family and they have a 2 year old little boy who is in nursery! In nursery we had 5 adults and 4 kids, it was interesting. Not a lot of people were at church today, it was interesting. After church I went to Jessica’s to do laundry! When I got home I made A LOT of phone calls to fill in blank spots on the sheet to help a family in our ward. I love my calling and I don’t mind serving but after awhile it can take a toll on you. I called about 6 people in a row and each one either said no or didn’t answer. Or I got people but then a little while later they would call and say they forgot they had something else that day. So then I had to call more people. I finally got all but one little slot filled up. I totally understand when others have plans, or have work, or school, or aren’t physically able to but after I heard no 5 times I was close to tears because I personally could only do so much for them.

Monday-
I got up early because it was just SO hot in our room. But I took a nap a little later and then got ready for work. I don’t like having a job most days. I know it gets me up and out of the house but I sure wouldn’t mind staying home. I do like my job and there are always good days and bad days. I did apply for another job but not sure if it will work out or not. Thinking maybe I should get a blessing tonight or someday soon. We have A LOT of things we have to Google at work and it doesn’t always work out easily. Other than that things are going pretty well. Just a little sore from how I slept. Just plan on watching Roswell while using Google for this 2,000 name project.

And I should probably make a grocery list and we should probably going shopping again tonight.
