I watched some TV shows for a little bit. Then I did Skype with Channelle, we talked a little bit about a road trip we are planning. Then she helped me try to curl my hair with a straightener. And I kind of worked but I still need a lot of practice. Afterwards I cleaned up a little bit. Then I picked Spencer up around 8pm. We talked about future events that are coming up soon. And I was just exhausted so we got ready for bed early.
Friday-
Not much happened but the usual in the morning but I had some thoughts so here is where I will discuss them. I did burn my finger this morning… ouch!
I think I’ve wrote about this before but a little while ago I started writing about certain topics I would love my kids to understand better and things I wish I had known before hand. Just a couple days ago I found out a celebrity (Debby Ryan) does this as well and she is only 19 and isn’t married yet. But I honestly think it’s a brilliant idea for everyone to do.
Also I love being married, it’s always been one of my number one dreams to get married to a wonderful man and have children and so on. And it’s amazing being married and sharing a life with someone. After awhile though (and I think I’ve blogged about this before) you realize all of the things you wanted to do in your life that you haven’t done. There is some of this these I could still do at my age but it’s harder to do when you’re not single. I think why I love TV shows & movies so much are because I wish I had an opportunity to act in even a commercial. Also with music I want to sing songs that inspire people and make them want to listen to it over and over again. And I have a little more courage to do these things now more than when I was in High School but I am still shy and nervous. 1. I don’t have the experience and practice 2. I’m not gutsy enough to do those things 3. I’m not really in the right area to find opportunities like that. (Maybe one day when a movie is filming in
On a side note I did try out for a school play in High School one time and it was nerve racking but I did it. Of course I didn’t make it in but it was a good experience.
Then I started thinking I really want to do these things but if it never happens I still can be these things in a different way… When I’m a mom
1. I am the most famous person in their life and they will love me
2. they will look up to me
3. I will sing to them at night or whenever
4. I will dance and make them laugh
5. mommy is always going to be silly at sometime or another
6. a mother is always wise and an inspiration
Of course were not all of these things to them their WHOLE life but we will always be there when they do want/ need us again. And if that’s all the chance I get at being “famous”, then it will be alright with me =]
On a side note, it would be cool to be famous for a day; just to see how it feels.
I’m planning on doing a girl road trip to
It’s a lot of work to do your hair and make up everyday but I do like looking like this more than without doing anything.
I’m getting my hair dyed red tomorrow by Heather. I’m really excited and hope it looks nice, if it doesn’t red fades fast so it might look better as it changes color. And she is going to help me learn how to curl my own hair.
Other than that there isn’t too much going on this weekend. It will be nice to have a low key weekend for once. =]
And I’m getting Jessie & Good luck Charlie episodes on DVD from my In-laws, I’m really excited to get those!
Countdown-
32 days until something awesome!!! (I think I counted this wrong somehow)
41 days until Spencer is out of this semester (27 if you don’t count the weekends or holidays)
61 days until Chicago/Iowa!!!
