Acne...blah

Monday evening-
Yesterday we had chicken gravy & rice for dinner. Than we played a little family feud. After watching a few episodes of TV we decided to go on a walk. We found a Geocache at Smith’s then walked to a natural spring. It was a nice walk but it was nice to get home with the fan on. Then we relaxed for the rest of the evening.

Tuesday-
Ever sense I’ve gotten off birth control I’m getting more acne, it’s now on my forehead. I couldn’t sleep around 330 this morning so I got up and watched some episodes until 430. I got up and ready for the day. I ran a few errands then headed to Acacia’s to hang out for a little bit. I played with Evia, held baby Emerson, and talked with Acacia. It was a nice time. Then I headed off to Blue Lemon for our work lunch! I had their steak and it was delicious =] It was nice to get together and talk with a few people, and I always learn something new about everyone.
I talked with Spencer on the phone for a little bit then got to work around 1:20pm. Now just watching Sonny with a Chance while at work. Not too much going on. My last day at work for about a week so I’m just so excited!!!
I have a few things to clean and errands to do these next few days that I’m just hoping I don’t forget anything.

Ah I’m SO excited!!! Good luck to my mother in law and my husband on their interviews and hopefully they both get the positions! =]

Laughing Attack

Friday evening-
Spencer and I did a little cleaning here and there and then relaxed. We had a few good conversations. Really not much at all happened and things I planned for didn’t end up happening but that’s okay.

Saturday-
I ended up sleeping like a baby and then got up to get ready for Idaho! Jessica, J, and my mom came to our house and we packed up and half way to Idaho we picked up Stephanie and Rick. Then we got to Pocatello around 11am to see Mallorie, and Cache. We all hung out in the backyard a little and played with a few toys with Cache. Then we headed out to a place called Pizza Hole for some lunch. It was an interesting looking place but it was pretty cool. After that we went to a park for the boys to play. I did the monkey bars and man my hands were really close to blisters. My hands are a lot softer than they used to be. There were these other kids that came to play on the playground and one of them was probably an 8 year old girl. She asked me if I would be her friend and I said sure (because you’re not going to say no to a little kid). But after I said yes she stood and talked to me for like 30 minutes about random things that really didn’t make any sense. I told her that you and your sister should go play with your brothers and she said not that’s okay. Eventually I got her to go talk to my mom and she never came back or came to say goodbye to me when we left. She was sweet but she was a talker. Then we headed to this water park to go swimming. Rick, Spencer, and I stayed out and watched the rest of them play in the water. I finally got some sun on my legs; they are a little bit tanner. After being there for about an hour or two we headed back to their house. We played for just a little bit longer but man did I feel wiped out! We left around 6pm to head back home. We stopped at an A&W on the way back for dinner and it wasn’t the best place ever.

Sunday-
Happy 58th Birthday Daddy! He retired from the Navy/Seabee this day. Thanks for doing all your service for this country Dad! Love you!
It was a pretty good morning and I got ready pretty fast but before we left I got a text from one of the sisters that help in nursery that she couldn’t come to church. She was the one doing the lesson so I had to throw together a quick lesson and get things organized. It all kind of fell down from there. There were about 9 kids in nursery, and two leaders plus another sister that comes in and helps us when we need it. It was okay at first but they just kept getting louder and louder and some just kept running circles around us. We got them over to singing time and the lesson but one or maybe two of them all stayed sitting down but the rest would not stay sitting, or keep their hands to themselves, or keep their lips quite. I did the lesson but not for long because they just weren’t listening and I couldn’t fight that anymore. So we went over to snack time and I forgot that I didn’t bring a paper over to relief society. I was running around trying to get all of them their snacks and make sure everything was okay. Then after they were done they got up and ran around and I would try to keep one to sit down but then the other ones would copy and do the same thing. Then a total of two were crying. And I probably could of calmed them down but I was so overwhelmed and didn’t have any patience that I thought it best to take them to their parents if needed. Towards the end we got them settled down a little bit but I was just so embarrassed and overwhelmed that I couldn’t see the good in all of these kids. I just wanted the world to stop for a minute just so I could catch my breath. At the end another person came in and was probably just trying to help but made me feel inadequate and just took over when it wasn’t their job to do that anymore. It was just the cherry on the top along with everything else. I rounded up a few things and talked to people quick that I needed to and then went to say goodbye to Spencer like normal. I usually just say if nursery was good or hard today. And he talked a little bit and then I just said nursery was really hard today and tears started coming out of my eyes; I just couldn’t hold them back anymore. So he shut the office door and just held me while I cried. Then I stopped for a minute and told Spencer a little bit more and than started crying again. I don’t think I’ve ever cried over a calling before but I was probably just holding so much in that the water works just burst open. So he decided to tell the Bishopric that he couldn’t stay until 2 and he walked home with me. That was something that meant A LOT to me, him kind of cancelling something to stop and help me when I really just needed him. That meant the world to me and it honestly makes me love him even more than ever. I’m just not the type of person to say can you stop doing your calling or your job for a moment because I need you. So that I didn’t have to ask him to do it; and I wasn’t going to ask. I was going to just hold my tears in until I got home but my tears had a mind of their own. I calmed down and we ate lunch and watched some TV shows for a little bit.
Around 3 we went to the church to organize the nursery a little bit and I made a few phone calls to prepare nursery for next Sunday when I won’t be there. I am terrified of leaving nursery but I really need a vacation as well. Then we headed over to Jessica’s. When we got there Spencer and I smelled some of the Fall scents that we plan on getting sometime in the fall. Then we played a game with J for a little bit. Then Jessica tricked my dad into coming over and we said SURPRISE!!! It was good to see him have no idea that we were planning that. I still wish we could do a bigger surprise for him but in time. Then we ate Pumpkin pie Jessica made for my dad. After he left we made French toast for dinner and ate Play dough ice cream! Then Spencer and I headed back home. Spencer and I watched a movie and played a card game.
After thinking about what happened in nursery I realized a lot of it was a blur and I can’t remember what all the kids were doing or did. I really need to focus on them a little more and if I can’t get to other things that’s okay as long as their happy and doing okay. And if I need help to ask the sisters that are there to help me to do something when I need it. A lot of times I just have ALL this stuff I need to do in a short time that I’m the one running around when I should have us all share the duties. I also think that all three of us in nursery aren’t parents; I am the one that’s been married the longest and so it’s really hard sometimes to really know what we should do with a child or how we should say something to them.
My mom was saying how the kids probably felt that I was overwhelmed and so that’s probably why they were more crazy than normal. I am very grateful for the sister’s that were there and did help us when we needed the help.
I did have A LOT of laughing attacks towards the end of the night because I was just so exhausted but I really need to laugh!

Monday-
This morning I got up and watched some Grey’s Anatomy for a little bit. Then I decided to curl my hair today. I love how my hair looks curled but man I really don’t have the patience to curly my own hair. Half way through I want to just stop and do something else. I wouldn’t mind if someone else did it but I have a hard time just standing there and doing it.
Spencer has an interview tomorrow for a higher position that pays a little more than what he gets now. I think he would really like having this new position too but if it doesn’t work out the one he has now is pretty decent too.
Not much happening at work but I’m okay with that since I’m getting close to the end for a much needed vacation. Hopefully I can keep myself busy but I’m getting antsy already.
I plan to organize a few plans and then watch Sonny with a Chance and maybe read one of my books today.
After work I just plan to clean up the house a little bit and go buy a few things we need for our vacation. Other than that just a relaxing Monday.

Acting

Thursday evening-
After work Spencer and I ate Subway quickly and headed off to the temple! It was much needed and I enjoyed it very much. I learned a few new things and felt spiritually uplifted. Afterwards we relaxed at home together and watched a few Shake it Up episodes. And I slept beautifully!

Friday-
When I woke up I listened to a few songs and watched a Jessie episode. Then I decided it would be cool to try out for a Disney show even if it was for an extra. Or even in any movie (as long as it wasn’t a bad movie). So I just applied to One Source Talent. Just to see if anything happens, but you never know. And I know if they ask for money that it’s not legit. We will just see =]
Then I watched a few Grey’s Anatomy episodes. Then I got all pretty for work! Another laid back day at work. Just watching Sonny with a Chance on YouTube. Too bad the show had to end and change to something else.
It’s Friday!!! And I’m feeling pretty good today, and I’m very thankful for that.
After work we will probably clean up our house a little bit. Then enjoy evening together.
Saturday we will be going to Idaho to celebrate Cache’s birthday, sadly my dad won’t be there but everyone else will be! =]
Sunday it’s going to be an exciting day in Nursery!

Unbroken

Wednesday evening-
After work we ate real quick and then headed to the church. We both had meetings. My nursery meeting went fairly well and I feel really good about my calling and the sisters I will be working with. After the meeting I went home and sang a few songs (can’t wait until I can sing lots of songs without cracking every note). I posted it on Facebook if you want to see it. Then we watched some TV shows (I think, it’s kind of all a blur right now). Then slowly got ready for bed and tossed and turned most of the night.

Thursday-
Today is one of those days where I just want to stay home and curl up on the couch and watch TV. I did not sleep very well at all last night, I just wanted to scream or punch a wall. I like my sleep (which is funny since I didn’t feel like going to bed until like 11pm last night). But I was too hot and then my body ached and my mind was just going none stop. This is TMI but it’s my blog so I will just say what I feel like saying. So I’m PMSing and I have so many mean comments that come to mind when people say things and I’m trying so hard to hold it all in. I don’t want to snap at anyone and hurt their feelings. And then the pain that comes with cramps is ridiculous, isn’t bleeding annoying enough. Let’s just say it is the worst of it today but I’m already ready for it to be over so I’m glad my periods are only like tops 3 days long. It’s not a bad day today but I would feel more comfortable at home alone with my TV shows; where I can cry if I feel like crying or scream if I feel like screaming. At work you just have to hold everything in because you shouldn’t bring your personal problems to work.
I was going to write a poem today so we will see if that ever gets done.
Let’s just say it’s a good thing we are going to the temple tonight, I think I need a temple day.
We have a project at work for once but it’s folding 10 pages into a small envelope which isn’t the easiest thing in the world to do. DEEP BREATHS
I’m kind of complaining which isn’t good so maybe I should stop while I’m ahead. Sorry.
Almost everyone is in a meeting today so hopefully we don’t have too many people calling for them.
After work I just plan on eating Subway for dinner and going to the temple tonight. I hope it calms me down a bit and reorganizes my emotions. Other than that I’m good and then probably will just clean when we get home from the temple.
I need a girlfriends day sometime very soon… only I don’t have many available or if there are some they aren’t close by. Sigh such is life.
I feel bad for our men when were in our PMS stage every month. Sorry Spencer, I love you!

One week left

Tuesday evening-
After work I got a call from Marinda who does voice lessons. She said she would do 4 lessons a month for $100 which is cheaper than the normal. Sadly that’s still too much sense we need to be saving money. It makes me really sad because it’s something I’ve always wanted to do and I finally found a connection to a good voice lesson person but maybe something will happen to let it happen sometime. So it took me a little bit to get over that news. Marinda wants her own studio and wants to get bands to have us perform in front of people instead of just like a little talent show. That would be really awesome, it would help me over come being shy singing in front of people and being able to finally sing really good in front of people. Oh well one day it will all work out and hopefully she can be the one to help me. Then we watched some TV for awhile. Then I headed to the church for our book club meeting about A Wrinkle in Time. In general I just like meeting up with people to talk. Not a lot of people came but we had a nice chat about the book and other random things. Then I walked home in the dark listening to my iPod. It was a nice time to just relax for a little bit.

Wednesday-
I slept okay last night. Hoping that it rains today or tomorrow like the weather says. I got up and watched Pretty Little Liars it’s either one more episode to the season finale or it’s the middle season finale. Then I downloaded a few more songs. Like Taylor Swift’s “We are never ever getting back together.” It’s a funny song, I like it! Then I hurried and got ready for work.
Not much going on at work I plan on reading a little if I can get myself away from the computer.
After work I plan on having a nursery meeting with the primary and my new leaders in nursery. I’m really excited to finally get everything organized so hopefully it will go smoothly. Then I don’t really have anything planned.
ONE week until we go to Chicago, this seems so crazy but I’m ready to get away especially if this one thing I’m hoping for doesn’t work out how I want it to. And as of today I have a feeling it won’t happen. Sigh oh well life moves on.
I need to get out and hang out with a few friends sometime very soon.

Don't Forget

Monday evening-
I worked a full day on Monday but it wasn’t too bad of a day. But when I got home I realized something. I’ve never said this before and it might not even make sense to anyone but it might make sense to others. There are times when I read a book, an article, or do research on someone that I get so into the story that I feel the way they feel. Not always and maybe that’s not normal but yesterday I read a story about someone who was anorexic for 7 years and hurt herself but she went to treatment and it’s now a daily battle in her life. I was just interested in the story and all that happened so I read up about it and watched a lot of her interviews. When I was driving home I felt very sad and not myself. I just seem to connect with people sometimes and I just need to know when to stop doing research and step away from stories.
I got home and took a shower and got into my PJ’s and took of my makeup. Then Spencer made dinner because I just didn’t feel like it.
During that evening I really wasn’t myself and I don’t care to feel that way again. It made me feel like I was 16 again and those weren’t always the greatest times in my life. I have no reason to feel that way because I have a great husband, great friends, and wonderful family. Anyways I just thought I’d share, it just happens sometimes.
Anyways Spencer and I watched a few shows yesterday and later he went to see The Uribe’s at CafĂ© Rio, I wasn’t up to visiting anyone but I feel bad I didn’t go. They brought cookies that my mother-in-law made! Yummy!
Then a little later we played a few games while watching a show. Then we headed to bed a little earlier than normal.

Tuesday-
Happy 3rd Birthday Cache!
This morning I watched a few shows and cuddled in a blanket. It’s starting to get a little cold in our house so that means fall is just around the corner. I bought a few of Demi Lovato songs on iTunes. Than I got ready for the day and headed out to work. It’s a fairly slow day so far. This is a good and bad, good because it’s nice not to get lots of phone calls but bad because it’s too quite sometimes and then my mind just starts thinking way too much! I think I’m starting to get in a slum, I need another change again, so hit me with whatever you have planned for us.
I called this lady I know that teaches voice lessons; or I called her 5 days ago. She still hasn’t called me back; I really just want to know how much it is going to cost me. I would really love to be proud of my singing voice and know I’m singing the right way.
After work the only thing I have going on is Book Club this evening.

14 month anniversary

Friday evening-
After work I got a letter from my good friend Stephanie who is on her mission in California! Then we went to Big Cottonwood Canyon with Jessica, J, and my mom. Jessica couldn’t remember where she went with her friend so we found a different little trail and had fun. We walked by a cool waterfall and I took a few nice pictures. Then when we got home I finally cleaned up the house, so it feels really nice now.

Saturday-
Our 14 month anniversary! This morning I headed to Massage Envy for a massage on my knots in my shoulders. They were all very friendly. The guy said your neck is gnarly because it had so many knots and so did my shoulder. In the 60 minute session he wasn’t able to get rid of them all so I will go back in about 3 weeks because I would like it all out for once. Spencer went to the store and bought Play Dough ice cream, drinks, The Lorax, and some candies! He is the sweetest guy! Then we went to see The Odd Life of Timothy Green. It is an interesting movie but a great story. Basically they couldn’t have kids so they decided to write down all the things they would like for their kid and celebrated as if they had a kid. Then they buried the box of things and it ended up making a kid. Also it kind of reminded you that adoption is just as important as having your own kid. When I was younger I didn’t ever want to adopt but now being older I want my own kid but if we could never have one or maybe all we wanted; I would be okay with adoption.
Then I hurried to Jessica’s for her purse party; Grace Adele by Scentsy. They are beautiful purses but just too expensive for me right now. But some are so big I decided that I would get one for a diaper bag in the future. =] lol
Then Spencer and I went to Ruby River for our dinner. It was a very country place but their steak was really good. Then we went to our Stake’s summer play. It was interesting…. My favorite part was actually our Bishop and his daughter sang a cute number, and another lady in our ward sang a song.
Then saw that Wish Upon a Star is now on Netflix! =]

Sunday-
I was sustained as the new nursery leader in sacrament. I was nervous but everything went really well and I’m actually really excited about this calling. I also feel really good about the sisters I will be working with. I can’t wait to get everything organized and ready to go. It was cute little Evia’s 3rd birthday today. Then we went to Taco Sunday, yummy! Then we went to Jessica’s to do laundry. We went Geocaching with Emma, and J. They did really good walking and they found both of them pretty fast. They had a lot of fun. Then we headed back and played games with them. My favorite ones were Sorry, and trouble. Then I got to smell the fall/winter scents from Scentsy. It made me really excited about fall and Christmas! Then we came home and watched some TV episodes for the evening.

Monday-
It is Heather’s 1st anniversary so I will be working all day today. I plan to FINALLY finish the book for book club… hopefully. Then I will just watch some TV shows and hopefully go geocaching at work on my lunch break.
Other than that there isn’t too much going on at work today like usual or anything this evening. I would like to get a few couples from our ward to go geocaching with us sometime.
