13 Weeks-Small Peach (Thanksgiving break)

Wednesday evening-
I ended up getting off at 4pm, yay! I felt very exhausted once I got home. But we slowly cleaned up the house and got everything ready for our trip. Jessica picked us up and took us to the airport. Once again we were TWO hours early. We almost took an hour later flight because they were going to give us $400 dollars but they only needed one person and then they changed it to a flight the next morning. So we decided against it. The plane was small but fairly decent. It was FREEZING though; I need to start bringing a blanket on flights. We sat at waiting for a gate door to open for 20-25 minutes and my bladder was about to explode! His parents picked us up, we didn’t get home their time until about 11:30….12:30 our time. I was exhausted!

Thursday-
Happy Thanksgiving! I didn’t sleep very well which made getting up and ready that much harder. No one waited up for us though so we needed to get ready to say hello. We got to see Lucas for the first time, what a cutie! Then we got to see Mason who is now a little bigger and cute as always. Then we also got to see Little bear, the cute puppy. A little later Spencer and I went and played Mario Kart & Super Smash Brothers on the Wii. It was really fun but of course I lost every game. Everything slowly came together and we had yummy Thanksgiving dinner. Mostly we held a baby here or there and not much else was going on. We did catch up on Doctor Who shows through out the break. =]

Friday-
I slept much better than the night before, so that helped a lot. We got ready for the day and headed to Stater brothers to get some things for dinner and Airheads for me! Yummy! Today was going to be our Christmas celebration! Some more family came over and we ate lunch and then played our white elephant game. I love this game a little more now. We got lotion, a bar of soap, and a puzzle pen. Besides that not a lot happened and moments happened that I can’t talk about because my feelings were hurt and no matter if I had expressed my feelings or not that person probably wouldn’t have changed what they did. And it will happen at least once or twice more in the following days but whatever I get over it. Oh and cute little bear had fallen in the pond like 2 days ago trying to step on a lily pad. Then today we saw her fall in again, sadly I missed getting it on tape!
Later though we opened up our Christmas presents from each other. Erin got me Taylor Swifts Red CD, The last song DVD, and The Blind Side DVD. Yay!
Then my mother-in-law got Squirt his/her first book! So a little later we went upstairs to listen to the CD and play Rumikub before going to bed.

Saturday-
Today we played with Logan a little bit here and there. He has grown up so much, and he is just hilarious! We took him to the park while some pictures were being taken of Mason and his cousin on Mike’s side of the family. Then we went through some boxes and a drawer of Spencer’s to see what to keep and what to throw away. We found a few cool things like a color game boy and other cool things that they will be driving up to us in December. In the afternoon Dianne & I went to see Breaking Dawn Part 2! I had forgotten what happened in the book so I was SO close to tears on some parts and then BAM they tricked you! This is probably one of my favorite movies out of the series, especially the end! Basically they Edward & Bella sit together and she projects images into his head of their life together (from twilight to now) while the movie played A Thousand Years. It was beautiful and of course they all lived happily ever after. =] I would watch it all over again just to see the ending. At the end of the movie they gave us a sample of Taylor Swifts perfume wonderstruck…. It is absolutely divine!!! Then we walked over to the Mall where Karen, Jessica, Erin, & the babies were doing some shopping. It’s kind of nice that there isn’t really anything I care to buy now. Now once I know what Squirt is I might go crazy but for now I don’t have too much of a desire to buy anything new. Later on Joseph took Spencer away for a little while with some friends and they went to eat and went bowling. While I waited for him to come home Karen, Jessica, Erin, Dianne, and I played Rumikub and Dutch Blitz. We had some good laughs here and there. Then they came over for a little while to play some video games.

Sunday-
We got up and watched the last Doctor Who episode and then got ready for sacrament meeting. We did some laundry too before packing everything back up. Afterwards we came home and ate before heading out to the airport. All in all it was a pretty good break we had some crying babies here and there, whining dogs from outside, game nights, and food. Once we got to the airport we were held up at one point because a guy had gotten blood all over the floor so it needed to be clean. We walked to our plane area to find out that we need to get on a bus that will shuttle us over to that area because it’s such a small and little flight area on its own. Once we got there it was about an hour of waiting time so not too bad. The plane was just a little bit bigger or about the same size and uneventful as always. I was so glad to finally just be off the plane. I don’t mind planes but it’s harder when I’m pregnant. Then once we got off we headed out into the cold weather and Andrew picked us up. Once we got home we had packages waiting for us! =] Happy day!
I got my 2^nd place package from Cheri Chesley- red blanket, hot chocolate, 3 books, 2 being The Wild Queen, and The Tryant King! Then I got an 18^th month anniversary present of $50 to the roof for dinner from Spencer! Also the hypnobirthing book I’ve been waiting for and can’t wait to read. Then I also got a $25 dollar gift card from Almond Dental for writing a good review for them! =]
Spencer and I then slowly ate some food and watched Dirty Jobs. Then we headed to bed about 9:30pm because I had to get up early and I was just plan exhausted.


Monday-
Ugh I got up at 6am this morning to slowly get ready for work. Oh and our faucets are dripping again its ridiculous! Then I went out in the freezing cold to head out to work. It’s fairly quite for now but I’m sure we will get more and more phone calls now that the break is over but you never know. I’m just keeping busy and hoping I won’t fall asleep since I’m here all day today. Wish me luck!
Once I get home I plan to just unpack our items and relax for the evening.

Pregnancy-
Week 13- Squirt is the size of a tangerine/small peach
My belly is getting bigger! Other then still needing to force myself to eat so I don’t feel blah, my skin itches a lot but I try to always remember to lotion it. I swore I felt Squirt move last night because it was not a normal belly bubble feeling, it was like a flutter. I could be wrong of course but it didn’t feel like anything else I’ve felt before.
