Cinderella

Monday evening-
After work I made some dinner and we watched some Family Feud. Then Spencer had a lot of homework to do so I just went grocery shopping by myself. But it was nice and relaxing but I probably bought more without him there. Then I watched Cinderella, I forgot how much I like this movie! It’s so funny, and the evil person isn’t too evil. Then I decided to go to bed at 9:30 and I could of fallen asleep but I got up every 30 minutes to go to the bathroom, I must of drank a lot!

Tuesday-
This morning I woke up and slowly got ready for the day. I like getting up and lying on the couch until I’m ready to get up. It’s hard to get up and going right away. I could hear my neighbor throwing up, that was disgusting. I shouldn’t be able to hear that through the walls. Then I headed to Acacia’s and we crafted cute little onsies for my sister’s baby. She was super nice and helpfully, she is great at doing crafts, me not so much. And I held cute little Emerson and he just talked and talked to me. And Evia got to do some of her own crafts too!
Then I headed off to work where not much is happening of course. I love my job but I do get tired of trying to keep myself busy with random things.
Later tonight I might go play some games with Cynthia and need to clean my house. I’m very sleepy. OHHH I get my Grace Adele/Scentsy purse today i'm SO excited!!!
Oh I woke up with this weird red line on my arm, not sure what it is or how it got there…. Almost like maybe a vein popped or something. (Don’t mind the lines on my arm from my sweater lol)

General Conference Oct. 2012

Friday evening-
After work we helped Stephanie get her car and head home since J was going to be staying with his Dad instead. =[
Then we went to Jamba Juice for our dinner lol and headed to Spencer’s missionary reunion. Not a whole bunch of people were there but we talked to a few of them. On our way back we stopped at In & Out for a burger. Then we relaxed at home until bed time.

Saturday-
We slept in this morning and it was really nice. Then we made yummy pancakes and watched Mythbuster’s. Then we got ready for General Conference: two new temples, Arizona & Peru. Now guys can go on a mission at age 18 and girls can go on a mission at age 19. It shocked me because I don’t think any of us knew they were even thinking of changing the age. I was going to write down a few more things I liked, I took notes but honestly I just had a really hard time focusing because I wasn’t feeling very well. In between sessions we cleaned up the house, it looks much better. Then after the second session we went to Trio for dinner. Yummy spaghetti just wish I could eat it all and enjoy more than just 4-5 bites right now. Then I finished cleaning and Spencer headed to the Priesthood session. I stopped by Smith’s to get a few things and watched some TV while I waited for him to come home.

Sunday-
We woke up and slowly got out of bed and headed to Tooele. We wanted to do our laundry and watch Conference there even though my parents weren’t home. I accidently split juice on the carpet… mom if you’re reading this sorry! But we did a pretty good job cleaning it up so you might not even notice where it happened. Then Jessica got an early flight home so we headed out between sessions to pick her up from the airport. She told us about her whole trip and we stopped by her place quick. Then we headed out to Eagle Mountain to pick up J. Man was I sleeping from watching Conference and being in a car for a long time. I ate yummy frozen strawberries though. Then we stayed at their house for a little bit while we finished conference and Spencer made paper airplanes with J. Then when we got home I was wiped out but we played some games and watched some Netflix shows. I really needed a nap but it was too late to bother with one. Still wasn’t feeling very well but we made it to bed time and was glad to finally get some rest.
I finished my journal and had to start in a new one!!!

Monday-
This morning I pulled myself out of bed and took the car into Big O Tires to look at our tire that we think had a slow leak. It took exactly 45 minutes like they said. They’ve been really good all the times I’ve brought in my car. Our tire had a nail in it, go figure! So I’m glad I finally got that fixed and out of the way. I filled up the car on my way home. Then just watched some TV before heading into work. I wish I had the day off work today like some people. I could use the time to catch up on some more sleep so my body can feel better.
Not too much happening like always but I need to hurry and read my book club book before tomorrow evening. Then I need to make a grocery list and go grocery shopping while Spencer is doing his homework.

Pitch Perfect

Thursday evening-
After work I headed home to relax for a little bit. Then I went to see Pitch Perfect, it was hilarious! And made me want to get up and dance and sing. It was really nice to get out and watch a movie. Then we headed home and relaxed for the evening.

Friday-
This morning I got up and ready for the day. Stephanie picked me up and we decided to walk around City Creek and enjoy a pumpkin steam from Kneaders. It was kind of a chilly morning. Then we walked around Target for a few. Man I’m super hungry and tired… glad the weekend is pretty much here.
Not much is happening at work so just watching Grey’s Anatomy and relaxing until 5pm.
Then later we will be going to one of Spencer’s mission reunion things.
This weekend we will be having General Conference and I’m happy about that!
I’m so sleepy!

Chili/Chilly

Wednesday evening-
After work I got home and ate Chili, yummy! Then Spencer went to his meetings and I just relaxed at home. I got a call from the person over me for visiting teaching. She is a nice lady but can sometimes come off rude. They are only supposed to ask if we did our visiting teaching and we say yes or no. When I said no she goes why not? I wanted to say excuse me, that’s none of your business. I know visiting teaching is important but some months are harder than others. And for one she doesn’t even really know me. But I told her why and she said well do better next month. That really mad me angry. Ugh but whatever. After awhile I was watching Netflix but it was time to watch The X Factor so I went to channel 13 and guess what was on, The Presidential Debate….boring! I know its important information but it isn’t anything I plan to sit and watch because I don’t understand it and it’s not interesting to me. I’ve been fine so far without having to watch it. When I am older maybe I will watch it more but I would have rather watched The X Factor, so now I missed it and have to try to find it online so I can catch up. Then the internet kind of shut down so I decided to go to the church to just sit and maybe talk with a few people there while waiting for Spencer.
I had a little upsetting moment because someone I know and I don’t agree on something which instead of saying something I just let it go. Grrr, it must be make Holly upset week. Lol jk
I talked with one of our missionary couples; they are super nice and are like parents to me. Then just talked to the bishopric a little bit about the changes that may happen. Then Spencer and I went home to organize a few things and talk about a few things with out the TV, it was nice.

Thursday-
I slept pretty good last night! I slept in a little bit then hurried to get ready for work. Heather was leaving a little earlier so I came in earlier. It’s been a fairly busy morning at work it seems. I have a few papers to fold to keep my busy. I will probably watch shows while I fold the papers. Then I plan to get a few things organized. I’ve been trying to organize Stephanie’s baby shower that’s coming up in about a month or so.
Other than that Spencer has classes tonight so later I will be going to see Pitch Perfect by myself. It looks like it’s going to be pretty funny, I’m excited! And that’s about it for my evening. We are going to have to go grocery shopping again.

Colorful Leaves

Tuesday evening-
After work I headed out to Heather’s to get my hair cut. It was just so dead and I couldn’t wait any longer. And I know she is good and she does it for cheaper than other places. It turned out pretty good. It’s shorter but I like it. It was hot and I hit lots of traffic before I actually got to her place but it was all good.
Then on my way back home I stopped at McDonalds because I was STARVING! Their hamburger was delicious! Then I cleaned up the house a little and talked to Suki on Skype. We discussed a few things and talked a little bit here and there but then we had to get off. Then I relaxed a little bit before Spencer got home. =]
We had a nice relaxing evening together watching a few shows and doing a few things.

Wednesday-
This morning our landlord measured our place because we were curious on the square feet. It’s about 500-600 square feet that seems SO small. I’ve lived there for awhile but getting a number makes it seem even smaller. Just wanted to compare to other places that we look at. Then I cancelled a few appointments I didn’t need anymore and then watched a few episodes.
At work there isn’t too much going on but that’s normal. It feels like fall today, because when you drive you see colorful trees and leaves falling all over! =] It makes me very happy!
On October 27^th I’m doing the Bird Family Photo Session and then Caidan’s engagement pictures. I’m super exciting, it’s giving me more experience and I hope I can do my best!
After work today I just plan on cleaning the house a little bit and watching The X Factor Boot camp, it should be interesting.

Word of the day: Distressed

Monday evening-
After work we had Papa Johns pizza which was okay but not the best I’ve had. Then we watched some shows. I had a little frustrating angry moment that mad me feel like a nothing. Even though this is my blog I’m not going to talk about it on here. Then Spencer and I went on a nice evening walk to get out for a little bit. Then we came back to watch some of our favorite Netflix shows. Also we saw Once Upon a Time which wasn’t too bad but they have twisted some things. I bought a few things and I’m super excited about getting them! Other than all that not too much happened yesterday.

Tuesday-
I slept in this morning because I could and I wanted to. Then I got up to watch a few shows before getting ready for work. Also to eat food, ugh I hate food. Nothing ever really sounds good. But it’s a nice day before the cold sets in. If our ward boundaries end up moving for our ward then we might move into a bigger place if things work out of course. I’m alright with either decision but it would be nice to have a little more space.
Not too much happening at work just trying to keep busy.
Afterwards I am going to Heather’s for her to cut my hair, mostly the dead ends and possibly re trimming my bangs. I feel like I need maybe layers though instead of this flat long hair. We will see what will happen. Suki and I will Skype hopefully tonight finally.
Then just watching my shows and keeping busy.

RIP Grandpa Nielsen (Pop)

Thursday evening-
I went home and cleaned the house. Then I watched The X Factor & Grey’s Anatomy! Suki and I ended up not going on Skype. We got revolution monopoly in the mail! I tried to get everything ready for our camping trip. I didn’t really end up going to bed until about 11pm.

Friday-
We got everything gathered together for our trip then we headed to the grocery store quickly. Then off to Bryce Canyon. It was a fairly nice drive and we got there around 1pm. The in-laws and us just walked around a few shops and got to know the place a little bit more. Then we had ribs & baked potatoes for dinner. We played a little Yahtzee and sat by the fire; it got really cold at nights. Spencer and I decided to put our air mattresses in the Pilot to sleep in at night.

Saturday-
It wasn’t too bad sleeping in the Pilot but I had to get up and go out in the cold so many times to the bathroom that it got frustrating. Also my nose was always cold. We had “garbage” for breakfast. Basically that is all the leftovers thrown together but they’ve changed it into potatoes, cheese, eggs, and bacon. It was delicious! The camp showers were really nice! Then we decided to go look at some view points and go on a hike. We decided to walk peek-a-boo loop, we didn’t walk the whole thing but it was fairly nice. I’m just not used to walking so much so I was dying. Once we got back I took a 45 minute nap. Then we played monopoly, Spencer won like usual so then we stopped. I had a fun time but there were something’s I wish had been different but you can’t always change things. We just kind of laid around for awhile then built a fire and played rumbikub. Then we decided to sleep in the RV with the in-laws.

Sunday-
Sleeping in the RV was much better! I wasn’t as cold and there was a bathroom right in there if I needed to get up. Then we had hot chocolate and got ready for the morning. We hung out and then started to pack up all of our things. Then we headed out to walk some of the rim. It wasn’t too back of a little hike. We saw a baby lizard and held him. And of course Spencer did a few dare devil things but we all survived the trip. I was sad to leave but I was ready to be home in my own bed.
I found out on the way home that our ward boundaries are going to be changed on the 14^th… it will be good for our ward but I always am afraid it might change everything! I miss my nursery kids!
Then I also found out my Grandpa Nielsen (Pop) passed away. I’m glad we were able to see him a month ago. He wasn’t doing very well, they found out he had cancer in his throat and he just didn’t remember things very well. But it was good to know he had his sense of humor still when we were there.

My parents were heading up there this weekend but sadly didn’t make it in time but they will be there for his funeral. It was his time to go though. Then we unpacked everything and sat down to watch TV.

Monday-

After laundry I got ready for work and watched some TV. Then when I got to work I talked to my boss for a little while about a few things. She said some really nice things about me. She things I’m really great at my job and said she would never want to lose me =]
Then the FedEx guy that comes in pretty much everyday said I don’t want this to sound weird but your face is looking really nice. You have the same problem as my daughters but yours is looking really nice.
I’m really confused because I haven’t had problems with my face for awhile until recently I’ve been getting more pimples (yuck). And how does he know what issues I have with my face, he seems me everyday but that doesn’t mean he knows my face. I said thank you with a smile because he said my face looked nice. I’m just really confused what he meant by my problem?
Anyways not too much happening at work just going about my day and figuring out a few things.
We are having free papa johns pizza tonight! Woot Woot
I love my husband very much and can’t wait until work is done so that we can have a nice Monday evening together.
I can’t wait until my hair stops shedding so DANG much, its ridiculous how much I’ve been shedding lately.
