The X Factor Part 1

Wednesday evening-
After work I watched a few Grey’s Anatomy episodes and then I headed to Jessica’s to watch J. Before she left though we read him a book, and sand I am a child of God to him before sending him off to bed. =] He gets taller every time I see him. Then while he slept I did a few things for Nursery and then watched some Grey’s Anatomy before heading home around 10pm. I was ready for bed that’s for sure.

Thursday-
This morning I got up and watched Part 1 of the X Factor since I missed it last night. It isn’t too bad of a show, and the new judges are pretty good. They know what’s bad and what is good. There were a few sad moments and a few funny moments. Then my mom stopped by to drop a few things off and we of course talked for a little while. =]
I’m slowing getting a few things sorted out with Nursery and I’m hoping Sunday is going to be a good day! We are going to change a few things around and see how the kids do with a new schedule. I feel pretty good about it all. I also purchased a few Camp Rock songs for my iPod. Then I hurried and got ready for work. It has been cooler in the evenings than normal which means fall is JUST around the corner! But I will miss the warmth but I won’t miss the windows being down as our A/C.
Just going to watch a few things on YouTube and read my book.
After work I plan to take the car through a car wash and then Skype with Suki while cleaning my house. Then the X Factor Part 2 =]

Drive

Tuesday evening-
After work I headed home to relax and watched TV of course. I really just sat and watched TV all day, but that’s what I like to do. I also did the dishes right away and that’s a plus for me. I added another thing to my Wish list of what I want to do in life. Now half of it will never happen not that I don’t believe in myself but it just won’t happen but it’s nice to dream. A lot of it I need to do now while my body is young but some probably would cost money that I couldn’t afford to lose right now. Oh well such is life.
Spencer’s first day of school went pretty well; thankfully it’s only 2 days a week and only 2 classes!

Wednesday-
I love driving, some days I could just drive for hours. There is something so powerfully with knowing how to drive and having good control of something. Now I’d need a destination and time to just drive forever and money of course. But sometimes driving is just so relaxing especially when it’s just you and your music.
Anyways I slept in this morning and then watched some Grey’s Anatomy of course; I’m almost done with season 3. Then I organized a few things to get ready for this week so I don’t forget anything.
Not too much happening at work, I’m going to put a few things together for nursery. Other than that not too much going on for me today. I didn’t see J yesterday so I will be going over today probably to watch him for a little bit.
Oh X Factor starts tonight but I might miss today’s episode =[ but it should be online tomorrow.

9/11 opinion

Monday evening-
After work I went to go get a car wash but it was out of order =[
But then I cleaned out the inside of my car, so now it looks a little nicer. Then Spencer came home and we went to pick up Laura. Then off to Centerville for the 42nd Ward FHE Reunion. There are a lot of people that didn’t come that I wish had but it was a fairly good turn out. It’s crazy to think some of those people that I knew single are now married or even have kids already. But it was nice to see people; we had a good bishopric there. We had some yummy food and I talked with a few people. Mostly Devrey, and Laura. Then on our way back home we stopped to get some DQ for dessert! Then I watched Dirty Jobs on TV before going to bed.

Tuesday-
I tried the ER place again, it’s ridiculous. I understand they are probably busy but if you say you’re going to call me with test results in 2-3 days you better call me then! I mean everything is probably fine but I want to hear that it’s all fine. Especially if I’m paying for everything. Then I just mostly watched Grey’s Anatomy and slowly got ready for the day. Spencer starts his classes today; it will be weird not having him home at 5:30. It just means he is a step closer to being done with school.
So today is the 11th year since 9/11. Now I feel terrible for those that have lost loved ones and that those amazing buildings fell. But to be honest sometimes I feel like they wanted us to always remember this day and we are giving that to them. I also find it weird that people my age and younger remember that day. To be honest I just remember teachers putting on the TV, looking scared and seeing a building fall. I had no idea what that building even was until that day and that’s really all I remember. I also think maybe that day or the next day we sat in a circle and talked about those we knew that were in there. I think my mom worked in our school library so she was there but I don’t remember if they made us all go home or not. I don’t think they did but I could be wrong.
It’s a terrible thing that happened and I respect those who have lost loved ones but I also think it’s time to move on and do the best we can with what we have now. That’s my little opinion for today and hope no one takes offense to it. It’s just my opinion.
After work I plan on doing a few things around the house and then later going to hang out with J for a little bit and stay until Jessica gets home.

Have a fantastic Tuesday!

He will hate me for putting this up. But he was OUT but looked so peaceful so i took a picture =]

Disney Channel

Friday evening-
I tried to call the ER after work today but kept getting put on hold or never getting someone to answer my phone call. I asked the lady if they were open through the weekend to get test results and she said yes (which I called on Saturday and they said you can only get test results back on a week day….so never mind to that). Then we watched Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close movie, it was really weird but the last 20 minutes were beautiful and put everything together. Then I goofed around on Pinterest a little bit.

Saturday-
“Nobody has your eyes. They can look at the exact same thing & could never see what you see.” –Debby Ryan
It was a relaxing Saturday morning! We mainly watched TV which I was okay with because last Saturday was a busy hectic one. I watched Grey’s Anatomy, Shake it up, and started to watch Camp Rock.
We did get out and walked to the grocery store to get a few things. Spencer went to a meeting for a little while so I relaxed and watched more TV. Around 7pm we went to Acacia & David’s house and so did Cynthia and we played some games! Well we talk and then play and then talk. We never see each other enough so we fit talking in with playing games. Then Jake stopped by towards the end for a little bit. And I played with cute little Emerson and held cute little Nixon! =] Babies! We had some good laughs too and I really enjoy that. I’m glad we have them as friends. Then we went to bed around 11:30.

Sunday-
We had Stake Regional Conference from 10-12 today. It wasn’t too bad but to be honest I couldn’t focus very well. I did see my mom singing in the choir and you saw my dad for a split second but I missed it. Then we went home and watched Camp Rock and headed to Jessica’s to do some laundry. We actually weren’t there too long; our laundry got done fairly quickly. We did order fall scents from Jessica and watched a few movies with her as well. Then we went home and watched Camp Rock 2! Spencer always laughs at some of the Disney movies I watch, because yes they are fairly cheesy but I love them and they are clean movies!
I just hope my kids like Disney Channel as much as I do! And then we can watch them together =]
I’ve also started to watch a few more Disney Channel TV shows that are on Netflix, they are silly but I love them!

Monday-
This morning I got up and watched more Grey’s Anatomy for the day! Then I hurried and tried to decide what to wear. I called the ER place again and it went to a voicemail so I left a message hoping that they will listen to it and call me back! This is getting ridiculous, nothing is probably wrong with me (my test results) but I still would like to know what they said. Then it was sprinkling this morning. I don’t mind if it rains today but only if it rains while I’m inside! =]
Not too much going on at work so I plan to read my book and watch a few shows.
Tonight we are going to a 42nd ward (our singles ward) reunion. I’m pretty excited because I liked our ward and I don’t always get to see people from there. But it’s funny how you want to look really good just to kind of show people that you are doing well. We care what people think and I want to look good even though people see me on Facebook. I’m a little nervous but hopefully all goes well and we will have a good time.

Best Video with a Message

Thursday evening-
After work we relaxed for a little bit to make a shopping list. Then we headed out to Costco & Wal-mart. It was a really nice day outside, cool and refreshing. After we spent money and got a few groceries, now I’m ready to make a dinner list and hopefully stick to it. Then we watched dinosaurs on Netflix! Oh at Costco we bought this super warm and fuzzy blanket that I’m excited to cuddle with in the winter months.
After a light snack with chips and dip I headed to bed around 9:30pm because I just kept yawning from 6-9 and thought I might as well give in and go to bed.

Friday-
I slept from 9:30pm-8:00am, waking up occasionally. Man I must have been really tired. I got up and tried to watch the MVA online but nothing had the whole show so I saw a few clips. Demi Lovato’s skyscraper music video won Best Video with a Message! SCORE!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HX-WsBouLdw
Then I started watching more Grey’s Anatomy episodes, I have a LONG way to go. Right now it’s the relationship between Izzie & Denny…. Makes me tear up every time! Then I hurried and got ready for work. On my way to work there was this truck in front of me with a trailer. And we were stopped at a light from what I could tell and all of a sudden he starts backing up (I think to pull into a street parking spot) but I’m RIGHT behind him. I hesitate for a minute and then honked my horn and he stopped quickly and pulled to the side of the road in front. Either he wasn’t looking and assumed no one was behind him or he had his lights on to reverse but I couldn’t see his truck lights and his trailer lights just had the normal red lights on. Anyways so that made my heart race but luckily no accident happened. Thank heavens!
Not too much going on at work today just plan on reading my book and maybe watching an episode or two.
I still haven’t gotten a phone call from the ER place in Chicago who said in 2-3 days they will call with my test results…. I’m debating if I should call them myself or not. Thoughts?!?!?
No plans after work today, maybe we will go to a movie together.
Enjoy your Friday!!!
Saturday we plan on having game night with our friends and then Sunday is Stake regional conference.

I'm ready

Wednesday evening-
Before I left for work I stopped by to talk to my boss for a few minutes. We were in the middle of short conversation when she goes I just love your hair, it’s so long and the color is great. She said sorry I just really like it. It was really sweet of her to say that. It makes me feel like I have gorgeous hair like Demi Lovato, Selena Gomez, or Debby Ryan. Even though my hair looks nice it’s not at all 100% like their hair because they have stylist’s and lots of money to get done what they want. Lol But it felt good to hear that compliment. After work I headed home to make a really quick meal with what we have left in our cupboards for dinner. Spencer came home quick and ate and left for meetings until about 9pm. I just relaxed and snacked on food while watching Grey’s Anatomy shows. Man there are some crazy intense scenes, most recent was the bomb explosion. Around 9pm I was ready for bed but we stayed up for an hour longer and headed to bed.

Thursday-
I slept a lot better than last night because I took a sleeping pill! But still not 100% but that’s okay. Then I got up and watched some more Netflix while getting ready for the day. Not too much going on this morning but I’m glad to relax a little bit.
I came to work singing songs and ready for the day. So far not too much is going on. I plan to read my book and watch a few shows on YouTube here and there.
Then later this evening we plan to do some grocery shopping that is much needed I believe.
It was after work yesterday when I kind of sat on the couch and realized I’m ready for something to change in my life. Not my normal I want a new hair style, new house, or a new car. I just realized I was ready for the next step, not sure how to explain it but I just felt ready.

This is a SHORT blog compared to yesterday’s lol

Chiacgo & Iowa in 6 days

Tuesday evening-
After work we did Taco Bell and I helped Spencer do some home teaching. Then we did the dishes. I hope I can organize and not forget to pack anything. I am so ready for a vacation.

Wednesday-
I woke up around 6:30 and couldn’t get back to sleep so I decided to start getting everything ready for our trip. I headed to the laundry mat to do all our dirty clothes and watched Pretty Little Liars!!! I can’t believe Toby is the other A. Then I got home and got ready for the day. Afterwards I started cleaning up the house and packing everything we needed. Around 1130 my mom came over to keep my company. I was done by 12 so we went to Denny’s to eat some lunch and talk for awhile before 2. We picked Spencer up around 215 and headed to the airport! The flight wasn’t too bad but I had a headache and was pretty bored and tired. Steve Salisbury picked us up and we saw a few sights before heading to his place.

Thursday-
I didn’t sleep very well but that was to be expected. I got up around 615 and we ate breakfast and headed to Enterprise. They were out of cars so we got an upgrade. We got the car right off of the truck, with 19 miles on it. Red Dodge Avenger! Then off to Cedar Rapids, IA we went! Part way we stopped at the American Picker’s place and we bought an old key from them (I love it). Then we met by Uncle Kirk around 2pm. We then went to see Pop, my dad’s dad. He has lost a lot of weight and didn’t remember me (which is understandable). I didn’t know much to say but it was nice to see him and catch up a little bit. He kept asking for Neva, his wife and that he hadn’t seen her in years. But in reality he saw her a week ago, his sense of time isn’t the best. He still has his sense of humor though! He’d say do you know my son Steve, and I’d say yeah he is my dad. He would say oh oh! Then we were all sitting down and out of no where he goes your eyes are REALLY blue (to Spencer). But what a great grandpa I have. Then we went to see Grammy, my dad’s mom. She lives in a cute little place and her room is like a dollhouse. I love it! Her memory is just sharp as can be. Then we took her out to Aunt Cathy & Uncle Kirk’s place to get together with the rest of the family. My cousin Sarah and her kids Jakob & Makenna came to swim and so did my cousin Chris and his boys Alex, Jonah, Aiden, and Tristin. They all had a fun time in the water since it was such a hot day outside. It was nice to chat with them all for a little while. We had pizza and talked about a few things. Then they all left and we caught up with my Aunt & Uncle (My aunt is my dad’s sister). Spencer had allergies/a cold but other than that he was doing well. Me on the other hand TMI but once again it’s my blog so I will talk about it if I want to. I knew I was probably starting to get a yeast infection and those are never fun or convenient.

Friday-
We got up and went out to breakfast with Uncle Kirk and around 11am headed out to Waterloo, IA. We got to my Uncle Gene’s place around 1pm, we headed for some ice cream. Then Grandma Moore, and Aunt Pam stopped by. We all chatted for a little while and Uncle Fred stopped by too. Grandma (my mom’s mom) seemed to be doing fairly well. She knew who I was and talked a little but she is more of a listener. We stopped by to see Uncle Larry and then we headed to a pizza joint for dinner together. My uncle’s are just a hoot (my mom’s brothers). We all usually have a lot of fun when were together. Aunt Linda & Uncle Gene, Aunt Pam & Uncle Larry, Aunt Terri & Uncle Fred, I have an Uncle Bobby & Aunt Bonnie but they live in Washington. After dinner we said our sad goodbyes and went to the store to get Iowa Dip that my family loves. Then we played sequence and some dice games with my Aunt Linda & Uncle Gene. It was really fun to play games with them. By this time my yeast infection was getting worse but there wasn’t too much I could do about it yet.

Saturday-
We had to get the rental back by 1130 at the latest so we rolled out of bed left around 5am. It was a fairly nice ride and we got a lot of rain! We arrived back around 11am to drop off our rental. By now it had about 690 miles on it. =]
Then we got ready for the day and I just wasn’t doing so well. I was swollen, red, and uncomfortable. We walked to 5 guys for a delicious lunch and stopped by a few more places. It also rained a little bit but not much. We picked up some groceries and headed back to Steve’s place. By this time I realized walking was just not going so well for me so we decided I should go to a clinic to get some stronger medicine. By the time we walked ALL the way there (he doesn’t have a car so we walked and took bus’s and trains) they were pretty much closed and don’t treat the infections I had. I was about ready to start bawling I just wanted to feel better so I could enjoy my vacation. So we took the train back I took another kind of over the counter medicine. For dinner we went to an Italian place and then played some games to pass the time. Before bed I decided I could use a blessing. I don’t recall everything it sad but I felt a little better knowing things would work out some how.

Sunday-
For my yeast infections are worse at night it’s hard to explain but they are. I was excited to go to church with Steve but it was a 30 minute walk there and I was worse then before, the medicine wasn’t working. So sadly we decided the best route to go (since it was a weekend and a holiday weekend no less) to the ER. It was about a 2 hour wait before we got called back. I was right and it was a yeast infection. Then another hour later we finally finished paper work and could go to Walgreens to get the prescription filled. They said they would call me in 2-3 days for the test results (still waiting on that phone call). When I finally took the medicine I had to wait up to 24 hours before I really saw a change. I mostly sat around and watched YouTube videos or dozed off while Spencer and Steve would do a few little things here and there outside. We mostly played a lot of games until I was better to go out and do things. I was ready for the yeast infection to be over with.

Monday-
I woke up around 7pm 60% better! I wanted to shout it from the roof tops! I was ready enough to head out to our Segway Tour! It was a LONG tour but it was a lot of fun to see a lot in only a few hours and learned how to ride a Segway. My back kind of hurt and my feet hurt but it was worth it. Then we headed to Clarke’s for a much needed lunch. After that we walked back to rest for a few minutes before heading to The Bean aka Cloud Gate. It was a very crowded place but what a beautifully structure. Then we walked down Michigan Ave. to see a few shops and also a few street performers. Then we stopped at a Lego store, The Marble store and picked out a cool game, and of course a candy store! We then had Chicago style pizza, it was good but nothing beats Pizza Hut for me! We came back because we were all exhausted and Spencer and I did some needed laundry and played some games. I was glad I was finally seeing sights and getting out of the house but we were leaving the next day. =[

Tuesday-
This morning I felt fantastic! After we got ready for the day we got on a bus and headed towards The Willis Tower also known as The Sears Tower. It was such a beautiful building! We went to the 103rd floor also known as the sky deck. You could see LOTS of buildings and it was a fairly clear day but still a little foggy. They have these glass section that extend a little farther out of the building so you can walk on them and stand on a glass see through floor… it’s really cool but also really scary. Your stomach drops when you look down and I feel like it could fall (like a crazy ride at parks) and so I tried not to look down but I wanted a cool picture on them. We headed back and stopped to get some yummy popcorn. Then when we got back Spencer and I went to The Museum of Science and Industry, it’s a HUGE museum. Some of it was pretty cool but other things were kind of boring so we just skimmed or skipped over them. We took some pretty cool pictures and learned a few new things but my feet were killing me by the end. Then we went back and ate the rest of the Baroda Mud Pie and packed up all of our belongings. I was really sad to leave Chicago also mainly because I missed a lot of our time there to explore because of my infection. But I was glad Steve could show us around and we enjoyed each other’s company but it was time for us to return home and back to our normal routine.
Our flight was pretty good and I kept busy and Spencer slept some of the way. My mom picked us up and we got home around 10:30 and I decided to unpack and put everything away so I wouldn’t have to worry about it later.

Wednesday-
I was exhausted by the time we went to bed but sadly I didn’t sleep well at all!! Once I got up I organized a few insurance things and made some appointments. My doctor isn’t available until December 3rd, how crazy is that!! If there is an opening that comes up they will call me but that’s so weird. Then my next dentist appointment won’t be until like October 18th which is also kind of far away. Other than that I got all the insurance things done and thankfully every place I got to take’s our new insurance so I won’t have to change that. Also looking into other places that I want and they take our insurance too! =]
Then I watched a few shows and organized and got ready to go back to work!
I’m not completely back to normal from my infection but hopefully everything will heal up completely soon because then I can go back to being my normal self.
It’s been a fairly good day at work, sadly my knots are back and my massage appointment had to be moved farther back =[
A lot of people at work missed me so that makes me feel pretty darn good! I’m just doing a few little projects here and there but not too much.
I love my job but I also didn’t miss it when I was on vacation but I still need to keep it for now and I can live with that.
Now back to our normal everyday life. Nothing planned for this evening!
